PURCHASED AND INSTALLED THIS SYSTEM IN 2022 THINKING IT WOULD PREVENT SCALE BUILD UP IN ALL FAUCETS AND WATER HEATERS, WELL IT DOESN'T. IN FACT WE CAN'T TELL THAT IT'S DONE ANYTHING BUT REMOVE CHLORENE TASTE. i COULD HAVE DONE THAT WITH A 50 DOLLAR FILTER. THIS SYSTEM IS A RIP OFF, I WOULD'T RECCOMEND THIS SYSTEM TO ANYONE SAVE YOUR MONEY. VERY DISSATISFIED USER.

We didn't have an easy way to add a drain or power so we went with a conditioner. I've just finished the install and am still evaluating it.1 month: There is no more mineral buildup in the electric hot water pot or coffee maker tank. The dechlorinatiom is working well. If I leave water sitting in the coffee maker tank for extended periods, now algae starts to grow so I need to empty it completely once a week or so. Also, the hot/cold water bias in the spigots and showers changed for a few days - my guess is that mineral buildup was working its way out.

"Devil in the Details" This is a 36 month filter, At this price you should be looking at a 10year system like PuriTeam or Aquasana. The omission of the filter life is pretty important. I guess they don't want you to accurately compare, just say.
