High quality for the price.
I was able to install and test this hot water heater in 2 days. The only reason it wasn't done in one day is simply because of the sealant not drying faster. After install I tested the unit and found that the temperature was 130 within 15 minutes. I was sufficiently impresses. I do suggest they add screw holes that are recessed to attach the unit to the wall. The old unit used the door assembly and when I added the door, there were no screw holes. This made the securing of the unit more difficult than necessary. The design was a match with just one safety change. It functions as desired. It is quiet and fit in the same space as the old one did.

Just like the original, almost.
This was an exact match for my 18-year-old SW6D as far as size/dimensions, the propane connection position and the wiring. What is different is that the whole propane solenoid valve manifold has been updated and of course the porcelain lining in the tank. When first starting it, I did have to reset the on/off switch once, by turning it off and back on, because it timed out before the propane line had bled off the air after disconnecting it. I believe the timing out is a safety feature. But after that it lit, heated and shut off normally.

worked for me Rapid delivery from Amazon
It worked in my 2014 Winnabego, life is good. Getting ready to take my motorhome out after 2yrs and the hot water heater was leaking all over. Amazon delivered a new unit in two days I installed because it would have taken months this time year at the dealer. It was easy install if you are a little handy. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it about a 4.

The rough in and wires are an exact match. Doesn't come with mounting flange.
Unit is a match for my original unit except it doesn't come with the mounting flange. Had to remove all the sticky sealant and work off the steel flange. wish I had ordered a new flange as mine has some rust from over the years. Haven't used it yet but I'm anticipating a good working unit. Make sure you get plenty of sealant.

Direct replacement
Quick shipping, was at home when we returned from our camping trip. This was a direct replacement and only took a little offer 1 hour to install. Note, you have to use you old door. Work great so far.

Exact match
This was an exact match for the water heater in my motorhome. The new unit was securely packaged and arrived showing no signs of damage. The Amazon listing showed images of a bare metal tank. This unit did have the styrofoam wrapped tank like the water heater it was replacing. I had a pro install it. He had no issues with the install and it seems to be working fine.

Piece of junk leaked from the minute I installed it
I purchased this from the actual Suburban storefront in Amazon, and installed in a Monaco Dynasty. As soon as I pressurized it there was a leak from somewhere underneath the styrofoam surround. I was leaving two days later for a trip so I just dealt with the leak for a while. When I got home and got on Suburban's website on the Authorized Service Center search, the first service center told me he moved out of Texas 4 years ago, but can't get Suburban to take his info down. The second place said they could service the unit, and I told them it was already out of the RV - they said "fine". I drove two hours one way to drop the heater off on a Saturday. That Monday, they called and acted like I was insane for dropping off a water heater at an authorized Service Center - I guess screwing in literally two fittings and putting a damn hose on the thing is too difficult for those guys? I then contacted Suburban "Customer Service", and they won't do anything to help. They said "we leave it up to our Service Centers how they handle warranty claims". Oh really? The top two on your list are both not actual Service Centers. So, yeah, I'm pretty upset about this mess. Word to the wise: DON'T BUY THIS CRAP, because like Dean Winters says on the AllState commercials: "you'll be paying for this yourself".

Good company
Was an exact replacement. Had a cut wire and a defective controller used the ones off my old water heater. The company gave me a discount on the price after I wrote them after I installed it.
