Q: Does the screen protector hinder the sensitivity when touching the screen, and can it be removed? How good is the grip on the case and lip clearance?

I wouldn't say it hinders the sensitivity at all , you cannot remove the screen protector its built in. Grip is good too , you can put the phone face down and the screen is well clear of the surface. MY phone is 3 yrs old im on my second case. Im a plumber and use my phone as a torch. Its takes a lot of abuse and my phone sill looks brand new. I can highly recommend this case if you really want to look after your phone. Hope this helps with your decision

Q: Is it possible to get the screen protector part, I dropped some solder on it and it did very well but the protector is marked.

I got glass screen protector under instead of plastic one that is on it tight fit but worth putting it on

Q: How do the port covers last over time ?

Had the same case on my Note 8 which lasted the lifetime of the phone... My Note 9 port covers still shows no sign of wear. Really happy with the protection this case gives my £1k phone.. Worth every penny.
