Walking on air again
A massive improvement on the mk 1. A better build quality. The seams at the toe are holding up . Not as chunky as the old one

Hmmm!
This is my first pair of Brooks trainers. I am normally used to wearing Nike Vomeros, Nike Pegusus, or Asics gel footwear which are all running shoes (the Brooks addiction is a walking shoe). This shoe for the £54 price that I paid is acceptable. Admittedly I was expecting a bit of a wow when first trying them on as I have heard great things about Brooks trainers over the years. Unfortunately I didn't get it.The shoe is ok, length inside at toe comes up short compared to my Nikes and Asics although they are all size UK 7 (41).The sole is pretty good but again I would still favour my other trainers over these as they feel better on the concrete. The grip feels good even on wet surfaces. The top of the shoe feels comfortable, secure and laces well, but one of the huge let downs for me is the breathability. My feet feel so hot and sweaty in the Brooks and there are no air holes that I can see. The material around top half is soft and feels more like my pvc sofa than any leather trainers that I have previously owned. I purchased these as I needed some black shoes to wear at work which might give some protection to rain on my 2 mile commute. Unfortunately 10 hours of wearing these is not very nice for me and I do need to get some air to my feet at break times, and when I finally get home from work I need to get these off my feet as quickly as I possibly can. It is such a relief when they are taken off. Please note that the trainer is not as chunky or shiny as it appears in the adverts which I am happy about as I needed it to blend with black work trousers which it does.I really wanted to like Brooks trainers and it doesn't feel nice to leave this review but my final thoughts are that even though my normal trainers are running shoes and these Brooks are walking shoes (which is not a fair comparison) I probably won't try the brand again after my experience with this shoe.

These shoes are plastic with a small amount of leather
They are not worth the £120 price. They look like cheap shoes,I was very dissapointed.

Don't waste your money
I am a Postman and have worn 5 pairs of Addiction Walker. These shoes allowed me to do my job and gave me bounce back from concrete. However on wearing the Addiction Walker 2 I have wasted my money and won't buy these again. These give you no bounce back from concrete and the new lining makes your feet sweat more. I am exhausted at the end of the day. I will now have to look at other shoes or hand in my notice. Bring back Addiction Walker.

My fourth pair used for work,so comfortable
I wear this shoe everyday for work as it’s so comfortable, black leather, so looks like regular shoe, not trainers.I wait until it’s on offer and buy, I’m on my fourth pair last about a year heavy use.I have tryed other cheaper makes but have sent them back and bought this same shoe.To me comfort is everything, also waterproof
