Great shoe overall, just narrower than Beast 23
I bought this shoe to replace my Beast 23s. I have a wide, flat foot and the Beast 23 fit me in a Medium width. I actually had to return the 23 EEs because they were just too wide. I figured that was just the nature of the Beast (pun intended) However when I ordered the Beast 24s in a medium, they fit me more like a normal Medium width shoe, which is too narrow. I did have to return these for a EE (wide) but they now fit very comfortably. They are wider without my foot sliding around everywhere. I also switched from the all black 23s to the Primer Grey 24s. I'm glad they have gradually gone away from the bright white soles on all of their colorways. All in all it's a sleek looking, comfortably fitting shoe made for stability within the overpronate community.

Most Comfortable Shoe I’ve Ever Walked In
Most comfortable walking shoe I’ve ever had. With that said, I should have gotten a half size larger. That’s on me, not the shoe. I ordered the same size I wear in Sketchers and Wolverine work boots. I took Brooks’ shoe finder quiz on their website (and bought them off Amazon for a better price and free shipping…so sue me) and this shoe was my first recommendation. It checked all my personal boxes as well so I made the purchase. After a few days of breaking in, (half size too small) they are my favorite shoe to walk in, ever. They support me in all the right areas (including places I didn’t know I needed it). I’m a larger man who walks at work 8500-10000 steps per day. My feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. My back doesn’t hurt; knees and ankles don’t hurt. This is my first pair of Brooks and I am very impressed. Next pair will be a half size larger (my preference is for no toe rub at the end of the shoe) and they should be perfect.

Confidence Inspiring
Just what I was looking for. Many years ago, I had a pair of Brooks Beast running shoes and I loved them. But Brooks stopped making them for a time, and I switched to ASICS. Very glad to find out that Brooks started offering the Beast again several years back. It’s much more supportive than the ASICS Cumulus or Gel Kayano but not quite as cushy as the Cumulus. If the Cumulus was a 5 on the scale of softness, the Brooks Beast GTS24 is 3.5-4, about like the Kayano. I walk/jog mostly on dirt trails, pronate slightly, so at 66 years young the support and sturdiness factor is more important to me than softness. These shoes offer a lot of confidence and don’t break down like other shoes do. I normally wear a size 10 and the fit was true to size. I ordered the Wide version, but honestly I think the standard width would’ve been fine too.

Heavy but more support
Can’t say enough about how great these shoes are. I have worn them for 3 days and yes they take time getting used to because they are heavier but with my bunion I have plenty of toe room. I did tie them so the heals are tighter. There is a video on that.I also bought the men’s shoes because Ariel for women I couldn’t find in a x-wide. If you have problems with your feet these are for you.My first pair of beast were years ago and I thought they were just so heavy and the black color wasn’t pretty so I changed to adrenaline style for the last 7 years. The extra support I get from the beast I need now in my seventies.I do wish the shoe laces were little longer for the extra wide shoes

The Beast turns out to be a great shoe. Only beware the grey is subject to stain.
I've always found Brooks Adrenaline GTS at mens size 8 to be perfect for me over the years. Suddenly Adrenaline GTS 24 was too tight all through the shoe. I returned and took a chance on the Beast. Good decision. Great shoe. Great structure, cushioning and support for everyday and walks. My only negative is the grey shows stain!? Ugh new shoe and stains on each toe box in this lighter shade of grey. Otherwise awesome shoe

AWESOME Shoes
I have many medical problems and shoes are very important. With bilateral Meniere's disease and insulin dependent Diabetes balance is a big issue. I have used SAS & NB shoes for a long time as they offer great stability. But I recently got these Brooks shoes and they are great. SAS run over $235 and these are much friendlier price wise and perform just as well.

Worth every penny
What can I say ?? I love my brooks beast. I have about 12 pairs. That’s all I wear. When they get dirty they become my ‘work shop shoes’. I’m a woodworker and on my feet a lot. These are supportive and comfy. No - not comfy……. COZY.Hope this helps someone decide
