The author, like many online sellers, began with books, and though that area continued to be his bread and butter, he hasn't avoided other types of products when the opportunities have presented themselves.In this inspiring book you'll find reviews of various scanning apps, lists and descriptions of various product sources, both brick and mortar and online, and even a chapter about using outlet stores as sources for products to sell.Probably the best takeaway from my reading is not to become a slave to your scanning app. While it may serve as a valuable tool, you should not let it totally dictate your decision as to whether or not any particular item is a good one for resale. That decision is one that is more properly made based upon your own research and personal experience and knowledge of a particular product's category.

I really love this book. It inspired me to start my online business, which I have been doing for 2 years now. You will want to read this book again and again , you will highlight and make notes as you read and will enjoy having this very valuable resource. I find myself going back to this book for research and inspiration. Through the resources and advice in this book I was able to start and continue to run a successful online business and was able to replace my teaching salary within a year of starting my business. If you are looking for a reference point, a place to start this book will give you practical ideas and suggestions to get you on the right track.

The idea and concept from this writer has great potential if you put some heavy effort in hours of research, travel time and diligence. None of the three I have put into practice yet. The reading is light and clear while showing pros and cons while looking for your booty. In general, I like the book, all I need is to go ahead and do it.

These types of books hook you with the title. Its okay and does provide some useful info from what I remember.A lot of it is unrealistic. A lot of this has changed in recent years with sales being harder and harder to come by on Amazon and eBay.

I am a seller on ebay and have two etsy shops. I feel I was wasting more money than I was making buying stuff I thought was desirable or worth something and after paying seller fees and listing fees and fees fees fees, not making a dime. This book gave me a new burst of excitement, so much so I went out and bought a smartphone just so I could use these apps as I was fine with a pre-paid. Now I can scan and see if I have at least the potential to find a good buy and actually make some money off it. I have been practicing off my stuff I haven't listed yet and have found a whole new educated way of pricing my stuff. Yeah! It's all new again! And fun! Thank you Weber! I think this is a go to book for anyone selling online. A+ from me.

Picked this book up for free via a promotion. Mr.Webber is an 'iceman'as described in my new book  "Trump the Economy" 11 Real Business Startups,1 Life of Freedom, A survivor's journey  Once in awhile you find a real gem in those free promos. This is one of them. This guy is on to something and surprisingly on a subject not well known. He is a terrific writer, and able to dissect and explain the method and technology in layman's terms. In the end, it comes down to being openly motivated to opportunities and using technology to enhance an iceman's career...really enjoyed it and now will have to pay for his other work. Not a problem as I am sure the quality and methods in those other books will be greatly beneficial in my own career.Thanks, look forward to more insightful guides.

This book was very useful in helping me through the initial learning curve as a re-seller. The first read-through was at the start of my online venture, and I retained enough good info to jump-start things without too much difficulty. Steve's writing is clear and simple to understand, and "Barcode Booty" covers most of what I needed to know to get the ball rolling.After several months of "on the job training," consisting of sourcing and selling hundreds of products through Amazon, I went back and re-read Steve's book. This time, a lot of what had flown over my head on the first go-around made sense because I'd been out there doing the work and discovering how things worked for me personally. Now I understand better WHY things work the way they do, and how they work together. Reading this book again answered many questions that I'd developed along the way, and actually served as a training aid at the intermediate level as well.Highly recommended for anyone who's serious about doing well in this business.

This is by far the most helpful book I've read on this topic, being an eBay seller for a few years now, I feel like I've been missing out completely. Not too many books will give you step by step guides, advice, and resources such as this one, and to make it even better the author wasn't trying to play affiliate, and wasn't motivated by incentive, if course he would want book sales, as he should. He deserves them. For anyone looking to find their way selling online through Amazon, and eBay or other channels this book is a MUST read!!!

This is all new to me so all the info was of interest to me. However as I don't live in America the resources that he mentions are not really helpful to me, but I can look for similar services where I live. So I have the foundation where to look and what to look for. But for those that do live in America you have a good list of resources to begin with as we as good info for those of you starting out. So all round a good book for a beginner at an excellent price.
