It is a hard ball and good for breaking up scar tissue in your hands.
I like it for breaking up scar tissue, however, it has a there is a ridge between the two halves of the ball that was uncomfortable. I took a fine file and managed to get rid of it. It is much more comfortable now.

Works well, does the trick!
I have used these multiple times to work out knots in my back. I just place them where the pain is and lean against the wall and move around until it's gone. They are firm, but not so firm that they don't have any give to them. I'd recommend these for sure.

Keep away from dogs.
I love this but i wish it wasn't plastic. I can't lay it around. My dogs chew it or use it as a toy ball.

Firm - exactly what you need for trigger points
It's not easy to find this size and these are exactly what I'm looking for. You can use these against the wall or on a mat on the floor for more specific areas like along the scapula or back of head. Perfect purchase. I was worried they might be too soft, but they're firm and do the trick.
