It works great without much hand pressure needed. I love it. I've made perfect gyoza wrappers with it just 2 days ago.

I found it easier to use than a traditional rolling pin, and it was much easier to store in a kitchen drawer because of its compact size

The quality is very good, it has a nice weight and very easy to use. Easy rolling and smooth grip.

This is a great basic item. I like the length of the rolling pin, but the diameter is a little on the thin side for what I’m used to. But it’s still easy to use, and you can’t beat the price.

A good starter rolling pin for my daughter

This is really nothing more than an poorly finished length of wood dowel. It doesn't appear like it is sanded beyond the shaping it got when being cut originally, leaving it with an unusually rough surface.It isn't clear what finish is being used on it, either. It doesn't appear to be mineral oil, which makes me a little hesitant to use on food.Considering you can get a 3' long birch or maple dowel of the same dimensions with the same surface quality for the same price and treat it with mineral oil yourself, this seems like a poor choice.
