Q: Will these fit 1/2" thick head stock?

P-147 Tuners have a threaded attachment bushing that will accomodate a wide range of peghead thicknesses, including 1/2".

Q: I got a vintage tenor 4string banjo (1920s) and tuners don't work well. I want to replace them. The shaft diameter is 5mm. Will these work?

I believe you may have to ream the holes.

Q: My peghead is 5/8" thick. Will these fit?

I feel that they would work. Mine are mounted on a 1/2 " peghead, but there is room for another 1/8".
