This case, grounded by my friend who's an electrician is very comforting when I have it loaded with batteries and charge controllers from a PV array in my westerly facing windows. Without the ground attachment, I would be afraid to touch it. I can't think of a safer way to do Solar Power indoors. Thank you for making this delivery count Amazon. I believe we'll be served more carefully for the foreseeable future.

The cabinet holds an NAS and a microserver.My criteria were security and ventilation. This cabinet has a locking door with steel mesh not glass. Glass did not seem too secure to me. The mesh in the door combines with mesh in the sides, vent holes in the top and bottom and an open back to ensure lots of airflow without auxiliary fans.

Great for extremely shallow gear or patch panels.If your only planning to mount patch panels or gear less then 9" deep this rack will work.I had to lay an edge switch on the bottom because it won't fit the rack.I also had to mount the rack to 2x4s then to the wall to give me some extra depth to allow power cables to plug in.On the plus side the fan is nice to have and the door removes easily to make mounting easier.

The quality of this rack is marginal. The doors and panels don't fit tightly - everything seems loose.For instance, I had to put a couple of washers under the hinge of the front door so it would close correctly.The packaging used to ship it was flimsy and didn't protect it well.I have purchased better quality racks for about the same price.I probably won't purchase another one of these.
