Reversing Sleep Apnea: Proof that Sleep Apnea Can Be Reversed By Losing Weight

Impressively Comprehensive Sleep Apnea Book!
Scientists from Karolinska Institute, Sweden (a research-led medical university in Solna within the Stockholm urban area of Sweden) published a paper in Dec 2009 in the British Medical Journal, concluding and revealing the scientific fact that weight loss can definitely help cure moderate sleep apnea and severe sleep apnea. This book “Reversing Sleep Apnea” provides the very practical proof that sleep apnea can be reversed by losing weight. The author of this book Dr. RK provided all the real-time data on how he successfully reversed his obstructive sleep apnea. He reported that his Desaturation Index dropped from 28 events/hr to 0.6 event/hour when he lost 40 pounds of his body weight, and when he lowered his body mass index (BMI) to perfectly normal. If you have any physical obstruction or blockage in your throat, nose or mouth, it is not possible to fully reverse your sleep apnea. However, depending on how much excess body weight you have, you can always improve your Desaturation Index (number of sleep apnea events/hour) by losing weight, and feel good. If you developed obstruction sleep apnea caused due to excessive weight gain, you can fully reverse your sleep apnea and lower your Desaturation Index to normal by losing all that excess body weight. There are many scientific papers revealing this fact. This book discusses about those scientific publications. This is the only book that has everything a sleep apnea patient needs to learn and gain concept regarding this dangerous sleep disorder. This book is very resourceful and so every sleep apnea patient should benefit from it by reading and understanding all the therapies so nicely explained. One of those therapies could suit your disorder and could free you from sleep apnea, or improve your sleep disorder. You need to try and stick to the therapy that suits your body and your sleep disorder.

VERY USEFUL GUIDE
Dr. Rao Konduru, PhD is a patient of mine who has suffered from chronic diabetes for most of his life. He also suffered from uncontrollable obesity, sleep apnea and chronic insomnia for the past 3 to 4 years. He has managed to reverse all of these conditions by taking non-pharmacological and science-based natural measures with great success. He has created 3 how-to user guides/books with regard to how he achieved this, and I recommend these books for anyone suffering from these conditions.Sincerely,Dr. Ali Ghahary, MD

Well Duh
It's not exactly news that obesity is one of the primary causes of sleep apnea. And not surprising that losing "40 pounds and 12 inches in the waist" would help. (Any by the way, the last time I lost 40 pounds it was more like 3 or 4 inches)

Impressively Comprehensive All-In-One Sleep Apnea Guide!
This book is awesome, well-organized, well-written, and filled with interesting facts, anecdotes and worth-reading quotes and paragraphs. Given below is a worth-reading paragraph:Obesity is the major cause of obstructive sleep apnea. When a person is overweight or obese, the fat cells infiltrate the neck and throat tissues so they lose firmness and are more likely to collapse on to the upper airway of the throat, thereby blocking the airway. At the same time, the neck and chin become enlarged and the airway becomes narrower. Too much weight gain also compresses the chest and makes it difficult to inhale deeply and freely. Sleep apnea statistics indicate that not only can obesity cause obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) can also worsen obesity. Disrupted sleep due to apneas causes the ghrelin level to go up, and leptin level to go down. Leptin produces the feeling of satiety whereas ghrelin has the opposite effect. When this happens, low leptin levels make you eat more and as a result you gain weight. Weight gain and obstructive sleep apnea go hand in hand.If you are diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea as a result of severe weight gain, this book can save your life, and help you reverse your obstructive sleep apnea in a matter of months if not years. Prescribe this book to your sleep apnea doctor, and tell your doctor to read this book before he prescribes you and puts you on CPAP therapy for decades, or until the end of your life.

CPAT Therapy is the Best Sleep Apnea Treatment!
WHAT IS CPAP THERAPY?♦ CPAP means “Continuous Positive Airway Pressure,” which further means that the CPAP machine pumps air into your throat, and helps maintain continuous, positive, very low and comfortable air pressure in the airway of your throat, keeps the airway open all the time, and stops snoring whenever you sleep with it.♦ As long as you wear the CPAP machine during the night while sleeping, the CPAP machine kills most apneas and hypopneas, and keeps your AHI (Apnea Hypopnea Index) perfectly normal, under 5 events per hour.♦ As the airway of your throat remains always open, sufficient amount of air passes into the lungs freely, and maintains normal blood oxygen levels (SpO2 = 96% to 99%) at all the times during sleep. You wake up in the morning fully satisfied with your sleep and completely refreshed. You would not experience the symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea such as tiredness with low energy, when you wake up in the morning.♦ As you sleep all the night with perfectly normal SpO2 levels, your overall health improves.♦ If you take appropriate steps to lose your excess body weight, your obstructive sleep apnea will progressively be healed and even reversed.

Fully Comprehensive Sleep Apnea Guidebook!
I was lucky to find this fully comprehensive guidebook on Amazon. When I read the “Look Inside the Book” on author’s website (ReversingSleepApnea.Com), I was very impressed and tempted to purchase this book. This guidebook is packed with every aspect related to sleep apnea that would be extremely beneficial and helpful to every sleep apnea patient. All kinds of therapies to treat obstructive sleep apnea are very nicely explained. The CPAP therapy is very nicely explained in a very long chapter, which is extremely impressive. Every doctor of every sleep clinic must adopt this textbook, prescribe it to their patients, and teach the contents to all their patients. This book has an excellent list of vendors to purchase and use a pulse oximeter to do the “Overnight Pulse Oximetry Test” at home. After I purchased a pulse oximeter and started doing my own test, my sleep apnea condition improved significantly. My desaturation index and my mean SpO2 improved significantly. I can do this test whenever I want, and I don’t have to depend on my doctor in the sleep clinic.I learned how to calculate my excess body weight, and when I lost my excess body weight, I noticed a significant drop in the desaturation index, indicating the fact the my obstructive sleep apnea was being reversed. This is a well-researched, very practical and inspirational guidebook. Every sleep apnea patient must read and use this book!

Reversing Sleep Apnea Step-By-Step
This book describes sleep apnea like we can find that info nowhere else. Many people struggle to lose weight if obstructive sleep apnea disease is festering quietly in their bodies. It is known that obstructive sleep apnea prevents weight loss, and blocks weight-loss attempts. When someone has obstructive sleep apnea, the brain mistakenly thinks that the person would be starving in the near future, and causes the liver to store and hold the fat for the future use.THIS BOOK TEACHES how to lose weight in those critical circumstances by fighting against this dangerous condition, against this sleep disorder, and against all odds. When the total calorie intake is drastically reduced, when you stop eating all those junk foods (processed foods and refined foods in restaurants, food courts, corner stores and gas bars), and when you start eating only whole foods, when you run on treadmill against all odds longer than usual, and when you exercise high self-discipline and high willpower on yourself in order to implement the above-mentioned weight-loss strategies, the stubborn fat on your stomach melts away day by day right in front of your eyes. This book provides the real proof that when the body resumes its perfectly normal weight, the obstructive sleep apnea disappears. I am so glad and indebted that I learned the above-mentioned research-based and extremely useful strategies to reverse obstructive sleep apnea from this wonderful and resourceful book “Reversing Sleep Apnea.”

Extremely Useful Book Indeed!
I found this book extremely useful as it is the must-read-book for every sleep apnea patient. What I learned from this book is: “Reversing sleep apnea does not mean that sleep apnea is fully wiped out.” Reversing sleep apnea means that the desaturation index (number of sleep apnea events per hour) lowered significantly when the sleep apnea patient lost his/her excess body weight significantly. When I lost my excess body weight significantly by using the methods illustrated in this book, my desaturation index (number of sleep apnea events per hour) lowered significantly switching me from moderate sleep apnea to mild sleep apnea. Without this book, I could not have achieved this reversal. If you have sleep apnea, you must read and use this book!
