DHP Rosewood Tall End Table, Simple Design, Multi-purpose Small Space Table, Grey

When I was assembling this table I noticed a foul odor--that I have noted before from some clear-coat sprayed bookshelves containing Formaldehyde. Those shelves never lost the odor..I returned to the box for this table and took a picture of 2 labels (See Pics) on the carton. The First label indicates to me that this table contains lead in the coating, but conform to US standards (Made in Vietnam). The second label indicates that the table contains Formaldehyde--hence, the smell I noticed. If I would have known this I would NOT have purchased this table..Here's what I found out about these chemicals:I1. LABEL: "Conform(s) to the Following: 16 CFR 1301 Lead in Surface Coating:.Cornel LAW Website."The Commission has issued the ban [on lead paint] because it has found that there is an unreasonable risk of lead poisoning in children associated with lead content of over 0.06 percent in paints and coatings to which children have access and that no feasible consumer product safety standard under the CPSA would adequately protect the public from this risk. The 0.06 percent is reduced to 0.009 percent effective August 14, 2009 as mandated by Congress in section 101(f) of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008, Public Law 110-314.".2. LABEL: "This product can expose you to chemicals including formaldehyde...".US GOV Website."In 1987, OSHA established a Federal standard that reduced the amount of formaldehyde to which workers can be exposed over an 8-hour workday from 3 ppm to 1 ppm. In May 1992, the standard was amended, and the formaldehyde exposure limit was further reduced to 0.75 ppm."

We have a studio apt above our garage that we rent out on AirBnb, in addition to being a perfect guest quarters for our giant family when they come to visit. I bought two of these tables to use as bedside nightstands. They were not only inexpensive, they are super easy to put together and do not look cheap at all! I searched high and low for affordable TALL tables that worked perfectly with the bed we have, which is high as well. I couldn't be happier and am very satisfied with how well made these are.

Bought two for either side of a bed after extensive comparisons with similar products and overall they turned out very well. Only thing I'd be careful of is turning the little locking mechanisms during first few steps of assembly (forget what they're called). If you feel resistance, don't push it; just turn it back, make sure it's re-seated properly and turn again. They don't sit inside their holes perfectly sometimes but that's fine. My fiancee actually broke one of the little mechanisms trying to tighten it too much. Thankfully the bolts which secure the legs to the top compensated for it.Once you get those bolts in (and those you can tighten fairly strongly), these are very sturdy, look nice, are a good height and impossible to beat if you're trying to go low-price.One last note to manufacturer: PLEASE use a different type of sticker to label the pieces. Labeling is helpful; stickers that you have to claw at for minutes to get every piece off, then rub to get the adhesive off, are not.

I have a section in my room that was bare for years. i didn't think of adding anything to that part of the room, in between two windows. but one day i was looking through a magazine and found a lovely picture of a end table holding a flower pot. i thought to myself "why don't i find something like that to add it to my room".I chose Dorel Home Products coffee brown tall end table because i wanted something to be tall enough to stand out and dark enough to match my bedroom furniture.Assembly is required but nothing at all complicated. everything is in the box but you do need a screw driver at one part of the assembly which is not included. it took me about thirty minutes to brush through the instructions and assemble the end table. its sturdy, looks great, it doesn't look cheap like some people review on here but i guess "cheap looking is in the eyes of the beholder". I think its a great companion furniture to any room in the household. I am using this as a flower holder but its big enough for a lamp, small electronics, door side mail drop, or it can even be used as a bed side night stand.for anyone looking for an affordable tall traditional look end table for a specific purpose, i would recommend this five stars

I purchased this table after spending a long time shopping for a beverage tub stand. Many home stores (and Amazon) sell metal tubs with wire stands that allow you to serve cold beverages while keeping guests from clustering around the fridge. There were lots of options for sale, but I found the wire stands cheap looking. Amazingly, the cheapest option (this table) was also the most attractive! The table was a CINCH to assemble (10 minutes,) and the addition of a couple wire wine glass holders to the underside of the table finished off the look as a beverage server. The wood is great looking, but it's lightweight and has a small footprint, so it's easy to store away when not in use.

I LOVE this table. I bought two, one for each side of my front door. There is a little side nook area on each side of the door, and this table fits perfectly. For the price (I paid about $35 here on Amazon), these cannot be beat. I added a lamp and a mirror from one of the big home improvement stores. The entryway looks so much better than it did before, and with the light from the lamps it makes the area feel really cozy, instead of the dark corner that it used to feel like.The drawer is functional and not just decorative. It is shallow, but fairly deep, almost the full depth of the table. I'm not sure what I will put in the drawer yet, but it seems like it would be perfect for stamps, batteries, extra keys, etc.The table was super easy to setup - just attach the four legs. I did one, then asked my 13 year old son to do the other. He had no trouble at all doing it by himself.

The table arrived on time and in excellent condition. The instructions were simple enough and I was able to assemble the table in 15 minutes. The only thing preventing me from rating this 5 stars was the fact that the holes for the locking screws on the legs were not big enough. The 4 locking screws have flat heads abd I had to take a big wooden screw and screw that into the legs just enough so that the hole was big enough to accept the locking screws. Nothing more than a minor irritant really. As for the numbered part stickers that others have complained about, all the stickers are either on the bottom or the back of the legs, so I didn't even bother trying to remove them. The table is sturdy, solid and real wood. I would definitely recommend this product.

Love this little table. Well made and nicely finished. Perfect size and height and fits perfectly into the spot I needed an accent table. My husband put it together in about 10 minutes. Would recommend and will certainly check out this company's products again.

End Table, Wood and Wood Veneer, 12 X 28-Inches, Coffee Brown. Gorgeous table; much nicer than in the image on the monitor. Very sturdy. It took a bit of strength to put the screws together. Some of them stripped, so my friend who was putting it together for me, had to order more screws. I'm very pleased with the purchase. The table is conveniently tall and slender enough to augment my kitchen counter space. I keep the small appliances not currently in use on there...toaster and blender. Excellent product.

Ordered two, one came without the hardware kit, but got it replaced without problems. The hardware is a somewhat weak. Be careful not to screw the barrels too tight, or they open and/or crack. I got to replace a few because I was too strong... Otherwise it is a nice product. The wood and stain is nice and well done.

The product was well-made and is a good buy. It was easy to assemble. The unit looked a little smaller than the picture would suggest, but it didn't matter because the size complements our limited condo space. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend.
