TruCare Essentials Trace Mineral Supplement Chews for Dogs, 180 Count Jar (Zinc, Biotin, Vitamin A)

These are without a doubt the best mineral supplements on the market. My Lab who suffers from seasonal Canine flank alopecia, has had a complete recovery of her fur loss. Not only has her fur grown back, her coat is soft and shiny. She has almost completely stopped shedding altogether. The only down side is the price but with these type of results I will continue to purchase this product. Pair these supplements with Victor Professional dog food for even better results.

I have a white Bull Terrier with skin issues we've been battling for years. Started her on this and she improved so much. Her feet got better, her skin improved, she just looked so much better, even the vet commented on how good she looked. I tried a cheaper product, big mistake! After a month her feet were getting sores between the toes again, he was getting other skin issues too. I noticed the other product had calcium in it which blocks zinc absorption, in fact there was more calcium than zinc in the other product. I felt really bad about setting my dog back to square one by trying to save a little money. She's been back on this product for about 10 days has I'm already seeing improvement. I won't buy anything else ever again. This stuff works!

Package wasn't damaged but visible slice cut in the freshness seal. Don't have time to send back my dog needs them now.

I TOTALLY recommend these! My dog was part of a veterinary blind study for these Trace Minerals. I couldn't wait for them to be available for purchase. They are AMAZING; my dog was 13 at the time. I could tell she feels so much better on them. She has more energy and wants to play everyday; her coat is silky smooth and her allergies are even lessened.

Our dog loves these and eagerly waits for one after morning and evening walks! We have a beagle that developed a skin issue along his bottom jaw, presumably from constant moisture due to some mild drooling. He was constantly rubbing his chin on the carpet, there was black scabbing along his lower lips that was sensitive to touch, and the vet did not have a solution. After two months on TruCare Essentials, his skin is all back to normal and overall his hair has never looked better as well. They are a little pricey but a lot better than vet visits and treatment protocols that none of us enjoy.

I bought two packages. One of the seals was damaged and there were small flies in the product. I have not opened the second package yet. My golden retriever did not like the taste but my shitzu does take them. I will continue to use the product because I'm very interested in seeing what the results will be. Not a great start though.

Vet requested we use these supplements every other day, along with dog vitamins on the alternate days. I think they work well, but for some reason my dogs will not take the supplements unless mixed with his food. Which is no big deal so we do that.
