I needed a bag to hold the family (including puppy) first aid kit I was assembling. I wanted something to keep everything together and convenient for either keeping in the house or taking in the car. This bag is exactly what I wanted. It's easily identifiable as a first aid kit. For the size, it's surprisingly roomy inside. I was able to fit everything I needed into it with a little bit of space left over. The bottom portion is large enough to hold all of the larger items easily (boxes of bandages, a bottle of hydrogen peroxide, rolls of gauze, etc). There's also a tray that sits on top that's divided into four sections for organizing smaller pieces. The shelf piece is a bit flimsy but it does the job. The inside of the lid has several elastic loops to hold small items such as scissors or tweezers. The carry handle and shoulder strap make it easy to grab to take in the car when we're traveling or going on an outing with the pup.

Top “shelf” is useless. Flimsy and tiny. Dividers are a joke. Tiny pieces of foam that are supposed to Velcro but don’t stay. Decent price and easy to carry but it doesn’t hold much.

I purchased this for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas for to use as her "doctor bag". She loves it and uses it daily. It is a good size for her and all of her "doctor items" fit perfectly.

Would not buy it if you use it much - will work at a storage box for emergencies; no compartments inside whatsoever; cheap zipper; lightweight

We were looking for an empty bag to carry first aid supplies in the car. This bag is a great size for all of our needs. It turned out to be bigger than we expected. The only problem is that there is a compartment at the top which is intended for small items. It is attached with hook and loop fasteners and seems that it would be inconvenient when looking for something in the main part of the kit. We just put it at the bottom for now but intend to give it a try at some point.
