This Little Piggy: 30 favourite songs and nursery rhymes Audio CD – Unabridged, 4 July 2019

Good selection of songs for the car ride and not annoying for us!! :)

I purchased this cd as my 2 year old loves "The Wheels on the Bus" BBC audio cd and plays it all the time. She has her own cd player and approximately 7 CDs to chose from, some of which we also play in the car on longer journeys.This cd has lots of great songs all children should know, and a fair few that are on it are not included on any of her other cds (like farmers in the den). I like that they are sung traditionally (not altered or jazzed up). However, I find the very occasional song doesnt have the same rhythm to it that I'd expect (like incy wincy spider has pauses inbetween each line of the song where they play sound effects (eg to illustrate it raining) rather than just "singing" it at the speed a parent would by themselves.I have included photos of the 30 song track list for ease. If you only have the funds for one cd, I would recommend the wheels on the bus BBC audio cd over this one - my daughter prefers that one and I find the voices/songs less grating than this CD. That said, I am glad to have this in our collection and like the tracklist, and I am happy with my purchase.

I thought that as this was a BBC CD it would be good but some of the songs have long gaps (almost as if you are singing the line after they have) and so to play in the car (which is what I wanted), it becomes very annoying.Other people commented on the sound volume and yes, they were correct. It plays really quietly so you have to ramp up the volume. There were a few songs I didn't know and also some were missing like The Wheels on the Bus!!.Purchase with caution unless you have money to burn.

Singers voices are nice and clear so you can hear all the words. Good sound effects too. Some great classics on here.

Arrived promptly, more on the traditional side of rhymes, But my 10 month old loves it and gets me out of crying scenarios in the car!

So hard to find English not American! Some rather annoying and/or strange ones but they’re nursery rhymes so to be expected really!
