Unusual use of small springs
My husband used the springs to re-enforce the ends of his iPhones lightening cable to prevent cracking of the outer installation. Easy to install without tools or damage to the cable. Prevents excessive bending at vulnerable points. Very inexpensive fix for a common issue.

It's a spring, a spring, a marvelous thing!
They certainly do not walk down stairs alone or in pairs but I suspect that if you dropped one it might roll down the stairs. These worked great in a few pens I had that went through the wash. There were a few left over so the next time I forget a pen in my shirt pocket, I will at least be able to reuse the pen.

Dimensions in error
The product is very good, the spec. information is miss leading. The dimensions drawing has an error showing the wire diameter as the diameter of the finished product.

Not easy to get the right spring.
Good prings, but will save for another project.Information about available springs is thready; what I found is that these, although smaller in diameter than I need, these are stiffer than what I need. The search algorithm seems unable to select the needed diameter (o.28 inch, vs 0.22) and stiffness isn't mentioned. I plan to search again...
