What a totally useless bit
This order never arrived - Amazon refunded - but I ordered the same elsewhere Wish I'd taken the non delivery as a sign - truly the most hopeless drill bit I've bought. On the plus side it centres and drills cleanly. On the down side, 5 holes in standard celcon blocks and it's burnt out - waste of money and nowhere close to the 2x life claim

Typical DeWalt
There’s a reason the brand name is so highly regarded. The drills are well made, cut very well and drill to the size intended. I have purchased no name brands and thrown the drill bit away after the job ( basically bought cheap for one job in mind and then disposed of ) I own about 20 to 30 DeWalt bits and can honestly say I’ve not damaged or blunted them to the point (no pun intended) where I’ve thrown them away after completing the job. They’re not inexpensive, but if you factor in their longevity they are IMHO worth the extra investment.

OK for what it does
Iused this drill to give a pilot hole for a larger diamond tip drill. Better to sacrifice the small pilot drill when drilling through very hard porcelain wall tiles, rather than sacrifice a diamond drill from scratch.

Bit disappointing
Drill worked well on blockwork and brick but useless on concrete. Definitely need diamond coated drill for concrete.

Bohrfutteraufnahme ist Spitze
Sehr gutes Produkt. Der Dreikantschaft sitzt in herkömmlichen Bohrfuttern fest und lockert sich nicht und verhindert bei den Bohrern kleiner als 8 mm, dass sie ins Bohrfutter reinrutschen. Auch die Zentrierspitze ist beim Anbohren sehr hilfreich. Der etwas höhere Preis lohnt sich.
