An essential order
Without this CD, I would never have been able to change the battery on my Garmin Nuvi satnav.John. OK.

Great for the Garmin 1490.
Works like a treat. The instructional video is supplied, but is also available on youtube. All tools needed were supplied. It took me around 10 mins to swap out the old battery and replace it with the new one. My Garmin 1490 now has a battery that has some stamina again.

Battery connection
The wiring of the battery was very confused, so not sure if connected properly or not, when reversed still did not work.

Worth the extra
More expensive than just buying a battery, but well worth it for the special 5-pronged 'security' screwdriver, plastic prying tool, and the instructional video disc. All went well: new battery installed and working perfectly.

Product arrived promptly
This product has been totally satisfactory. The battery is very simple to install using instructions and tools supplied and it only took fifteen minutes before the Garmin was working again.

The battery I received was a dead battery
I would have given more,but the battery I received was a bad one it did not work,the date on the battery was 2014 so I've return rend the product and awaiting,my money back from amazon
