Q: How much caffeine is in this?

In fact, there is no caffeine, since it is a decaf coffee. But as everybody knows, decaf can contain a little caffeine. We drink this coffee since years and are very satisfied with it. We are not allowed to drink coffee with caffeine. So every now and then a little of this beloved coffee does for us the trick.

Q: Why does the decaf version cost more than twice the non decaf one?

This coffee is a fine grind, more for a classic Cafe Du Monde blend of half stong coffee with half cream....That being said it might be more expensive to remove the caffein from the coffee, chicory, as far as I know has no caffein.

Q: Does it taste like the caffeinated version?

I THINK that it is... I haven't had the caffeinated version for years now, so I can't make a direct, 100% sure comparison. I CAN say that the decaffeinated version is delicious! I also make it strong --- usually 2 coffee-cup's-worth of scoops of extra grounds. (I.e., if I'm making 10 cups of coffee, I put in enough grounds for 12 cups of coffee.)

Q: Can you make cold brew coffee with this?

Hi, I believe so. I hear people make cold brew with it and I also do make it and I think it’s pretty good.
