LED-8038E40-A Bollard/Post Top Retrofit LED Light Bulb, 4000 Kelvins, Natural White

Going from a 70W lamp to a 14W lamp is a huge money and energy saver. Not having to replace lamps all the time and having a 5 year warranty made this purchase a no brainer! The lamp feels and looks well made. I would definitely recommend purchasing these to replace existing high wattage HID lamps!

Way too expensive for the amount of light output. There is about a half second delay before light illuminates.

This is a bulb that fits your standard medium based socket. Lots of Lumen output @ 4000 Kelvin. Allows a retrofit to a product with low watt usage but high lumen output.

I am an industrial electrician and I have been using these lamps to replace any of our fixtures throughout our facility that still use anything other than led (ie metal halide, incandescent, CFL). These lamps provide great natural white light output. Although I cannot really comment on lifespan as I have only started doing the replacements a couple of years ago. I have yet to come across a light fixture in our facility that these lamps have been installed in that has burned out. Time will tell. It’s great to see that LED technology has greatly improved and be able to output the same light while using a fraction of the energy.
