Richards Homewares 717241000 Cedar Extra Large Storage Bag

These bags were large with absolutely no assembly required. I purchased three to fit my storage needs, which should also give you an accurate idea of how large they are. One bag contains 7, yes 7, throw pillows that I use only during the holidays. Another bag now contains 4 standard size pillows (though keep in mind, these are softer pillows so I don't think 4 firm or extra firm pillows will be as easy to get in there). Note: King size pillows will not work as they will end up ripping the bag in the long run. The third bag contains my king-sized, all-season duvet with cover. That was a tighter fit, mostly because I'm single and would need a second person to help me fold down the duvet into a more manageable size. Please note, however that there is NOTHING stabilizing the bottom of these bags. For the throw pillows, I used two Amazon box flaps to stabilize the bottom to prevent shifting. No stabilization was needed for the standard pillows, and the duvet is going to sit on a shelf so in the long run, I didn't need to use anything.

This is way bigger than I had expected. I can fit a lot of stuff inside. I like that it has the cedar planks on the sides. It's so big that I have to store it on the floor of my linen closet. But that works for me. At least everything is secured and covered. The sides are not reinforced so it collapses if not completely filled. But that's not a problem at my house.

Well made but I returned because I couldn't tell from photos that it had no structure to it. It wouldn't work for daily in/out use for that reason but would be great for storing things longer term and seasonally. I needed it for sweaters in my closet and want more ease for taking in/out of the container. Once full of items it stays upright fine.

HUGE size which is exactly what I needed but if it's not full it's very floppy. I do wish it had some support but this does make it easier to squish. I probably should have invested in a lidded box over this, my fault-so not deducting any stars as it's not the fault of the product. The window is a great feature. I was going to store our second set of sheets in here but for pulling out for weekly changes isn't the best use of this. (Boy, do I miss my old linen closet!) So I put our old comforter in here (a small Queen size), spare sheets that are flannel so we don't usually use them and a bunch of spare pillows. So this will mainly be for sleepover supplies. Which is perfect as we haven't painted the closets in our new house so this will keep everything nice and clean in the meantime. I'd possibly buy them again but I think it will be lidded boxes, I was watching price over function this time. This seems well made though and I love the cedar feature.

Bought 2 of this item in XL. Very happy with this case. Even though I knew the dimensions, I am still surprised with how large this is and how much I can store in one case. I wrote down each item on an index card as I packed the case and I kept packing one thing after another after another. I then placed the card inside next to the plastic window.Material seems strong. It's slightly rough to the touch (compared to other cases I also just bought), but okay since only being used for storage. It will not 'catch' on anything. Handles seem well-stitched. Cedar planks have a good, but not over-powering fragrance.Time will tell if the plastic will stay soft. Nice to have the ability to see some of what is inside the case.Overall, I'm very happy with this case and recommend it.

I like these storage bags (I ordered more). They do not smell like chemicals which I noticed many of the other bags seem to based on reviews. It holds a ton of stuff. I was able to fit a king down comforter, queen quilt and king fleece blanket with room to spare. The only problem is they are so soft sided, it is tricky to get the sides up and the zipper closed with the bedding in them. No way mine will ever look as tidy as the picture - but they should keep out the stick bugs that keep using my spare bedding for homes over the winter. The cedar smell is a bonus (should help keep the stink bugs away).

These are huge, which is awesome. But they're pretty shapeless. That isn't completely clear from the photos. They're just like a linen bag. The cedar strips also seem to be slightly too large for the slot into which they go, so they stick out a great deal and could snag something when you put it in so be careful. Other than that they seem like decent enough quality. The zipper feels a little flimsy, so if this is something you would need to open often, maybe look for something else. The nice thing about them not being structured is that you can shove them into the closet and really squish them into tighter spaces.

These turned out to be bigger than I had anticipated. I got the largest size, and every woolen I own fits into it. I bought three, so I guess I've got plenty of room to knit and buy sweaters for years to come! The soft sides conform to the shape of whatever you put into the cube. The canvas fabric breathes nicely. I haven't had it long enough to comment on its ability to keep moths out, but I placed a piece of tape over the tiny gap where the zipper pulls meet, and it looks quite safe. The pieces of cedar wood can be replenished with cedar essential oil to keep them smelling strong if you want.
