Very handy and made well enough fir a little tool box

Perfect for my needs. It fits 4x boxes of 25 shells, as advertised... BUT it also has room left for a 10-shell box like slugs often come in, plus a few loose shells if you need. I got 114 rounds (110 boxed and 4 loose) in here without any difficulty. It has the same rugged construction as my other Plano ammo boxes, with a solid clasp and a fixed staple for securing it with a padlock. And the ODG color matches them as well.

Love that it is made in America. Good weight. Seems well made and did what it was supposed to for ammo storage. Seals up nice and can be stacked to conserve room. Good price

I see a lot of whining in some of these reviews about the case not being completely waterproof, only locks on one side, etc. All this for a box that costs less than nine bucks. I bought mine so I can neatly store my shotgun shells, and have a more elegant means of transporting my ammo to and from the range. I didn't buy it to drop in a pond, protect my ammo from determined thieves, or drag behind my pickup truck. So, if that's your goal, you will not be happy with this box. For my purposes, it is sturdy, holds a decent amount of ammo and keeps it safe from the rain, is a decent looking box, and helps me keep my ammo organized at home and at the range. For me, this box works great and is well worth the minimal price.

Good idea to have a shorter ammo box. I use a lot of these and many of them are 1/2 full.

This shorter size is great for storing all sorts of shiny things. Love that they stack & are lockable too. Being plastic, they're not as heavy as their metal counterparts.

Great ammo storage box for boxes of 25 shot shells of 12 gauge 2 3/4 inches. It holds 4 boxes of 25 shells comfortable for a total of 100 shells. The box is relatively sturdy. For being a plastic box it is on the sturdier side, but do not expect the same as from a metal box. The boxes stack well on top of each other. The seal in the lid is flexible and seems decent. The handle is sturdy. For locking this box I would look for a pad lock with a very tight fit or add some metal washers or shims. Otherwise if there is too much of a gap this box can be pried open very easily from the opposite corner. If secure lockability is important I would look into a metal .50 cal ammo box instead. When using the bigger .50 cal boxes I can only fit 7 boxes of 25 shot shell boxes, the .30 cal boxes do not fit the 25 shot shell boxes properly. This is the ideal alternative to store 4 boxes while being just slightly bigger than the .30 call boxes.
