He holds a 10th dan in jujitsu and a sixth dan in judo. Highly respected by his peers, Jay was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame in 1969 and 1990 for his contributions to jujitsu and the martial arts. Jay adopted various techniques from boxing, wrestling, judo, kung fu, weightlifting and jujitsu and brought them together in what he called his small-circle-theory jujitsu. Since 1979, Jay has devoted all of his time to small-circle jujitsu instruction, traveling the globe to promote his system. Prof. Jay is the Founder and Great Grandmaster of Jujitsu America, Founder and Grandmaster of Small Circle JujitsuTM International and Founder and Great Grandmaster of Professor Jay's Small Circle JujitsuTM. Sensei Leon Jay is Professor Wally Jay's son, Soke Dai (inheritor) of Small Circle Jujitsu, European Director of Small Circle Jujitsu, and a Master Instructor in Tuite Pressure Point Grappling from Dillman Karate International. Fulcrum, lever and base combined with two way action
I felt that the most valuable material in the dvd was the fulcrum, lever and base combined with the two way action. Unfortunately, there are very few close ups clearly showing the wrist action and hand placements. The instruction would have been much more effective with close ups and slow motion.I was disappointed with the focus of the dvd being more on Leon Jay's emphasis on the pressure points striking without providing any real instruction on that topic. I did not see the connection between the title of the dvd and what the emphasis of the instruction that is actually on the dvd is. The title could have just as easily been Leon Jay shows off his knowledge of pressure points and knocks a few people out.However, the real value and a special treat on this dvd is a short biography of Professor Wally Jay. Well done and worth the price of the dvd alone.

Great Small Circle Basics!
This DVD has some great Small Circle Jujitsu techniques, although if you've been practicing MA for a while "Foundation Techniques" may be a better title. If you're already familiar with S.C. Jujitsu then Prof. Wally Jay and Leon Jay need no introduction. The techniques and instruction performed by Leon Jay is clear and easily understood with some great variations on defenses from the push and the strike. Some are very simple while others, involving pressure point attacks can require a bit more knowledge and practice to do effectively. Because I know how much fulcrum activation can hurt, I hesitate to comment on Mr Jay's assistant. Suffice to say his demonstration of pain is very pronounced in each move. The production of the video is not as slick as your latest (insert Star's name here) Workout video, but the information you'll gain outweighs any distraction there. The video homage to Prof. Wally Jay at the end of the instruction section is an interesting watch.

Could of been better...
This DVD basically shows the direction that the son of Wally Jay, Leon Jay, has taken small circle jujitsu. With less emphasis on jujitsu and more on pressure point strikes and touch knockouts.
