Great price, fit like original, come with bushings -- be cautious of the front eye bolt.
IMPORTANT: This is not a difficult job, just unbolt and replace --- however, if you intend to change these in your backyard with a 3/8 drive socket set and some jack stands you are probably setting yourself up for a very bad time. After 20 years in the rust belt none this stuff wants to turn without some advanced tools and methods. Of special concern is the front eye bolt: 1) The nut is welded to the inside of the frame with no access. If you break the bolt or strip the nut now the fun begins. 2) The eye bushing sleeve rusts to the bolt, see item 1) above for the consequences. I cut the old spring eye and bushing outer sleeve off, then cut away the bushing (a Rockwell Sonicrafter, zoomed through the rubber in seconds) and then used an air chisel to peel the sleeve away from the bolt. With all that gone then i could use the torch to heat the nut. So don't even think about reusing that bolt once you get it out, replace it! Springs are heavy, shipping is expensive. With free shipping these are an unbeatable deal. The box was destroyed, turns out a cardboard box with a wad or two of packing paper was no match for 2 leaf springs, they would have been better off to tape them together and put the label right on the springs -- no matter, springs are tough and arrived undamaged. These came with the bushings front and rear which was a plus. I also purchased new shackles, u-bolts and front bolts and recommend you do the same. Lifted the back of the Jeep more than 3" at the wheel arch and got rid of all that clunking and creaking, in addition to the old springs being flat both of the front spring eyes were broken. Great deal, just assess your resources before you begin.

Very nice quality springs
I installed these on my Cherokee. The quality looks very good. The paint on the springs looks pretty good, but I still put on another coat of paint for extra measure. The bushings come installed, and I can't speak to the quality of the rubber, but they fit the car fine. One does squeak a bit now, but it's an old cherokee and you can't hear the squeaks at any road speed above 5mph. (It could also be one of the new shackle bushings) These springs appear to be of the "Up Country" specs because I got at least a 2 inch lift over my stock, worn out springs. They've been on for a month and it only settled less than a half inch or so. It sits higher than it ever did; it looks like it has a mild lift. (I'm tempted to put in a 1 inch spacer lift on the front.) The ride is very comfy, not harsh or stiff at all. I'm very pleased with these amazing springs. As a side note, I had the common problem of having the original bushings frozen to the bolts. Instead of the brute force method of cutting the bolts, I did the brute force removal of the springs by cutting the spring eyes in two, then slicing the bushing shell with a cut off grinder, then cutting the rubber off, then heating and opening up the split bushing tube (they are split tubes; easy to remove at this point). It can be done, and then you can re-use your bolts, and not have to drill and tap the threaded holes in the body. More work but less hacking of the unibody. UPDATE: 6 months later and I can say the springs have not sagged after the first couple weeks. I ended up putting in a 3/4 inch spacer lift in the front coils (very easy job) and now the Cherokee sits level. Very happy.

Great springs, but take a long time to settle to normal ride height-
Good heavy duty quality springs here! No question. But let me totally honest: You will ride 2" higher then factory ride height in the rear FOR A WHILE! I have been riding on these rear leafs now for 10 months, and they are now just starting to settle down and come into reality for a normal ride height. 10 months and 11,000 miles later, and I no longer feel like I'm riding in a raked hotrod, and my headlights are no longer pointing straight down into the road. This Dorman version comes with the rubber bushings and steel sleeves installed in the eyes. Great item for the price, ride quality is very good, not overly stiff and bouncy, just need to be VERY patient and let them settle- Wait- I almost forgot, they will squeak... and I don't mean a little, I mean you will burn though an entire can of WD40 or some other lube trying to get the shim plates and leafs to stop squeaking. It sounds more like an electrical crackling sound...not a high pitch squeak, but it's obvious it's the leafs. When you hit the leaf packs with some lube, it will go away for a few days... but ultimately, it took about 4 months or the squeaking to subside-

Trust me these are good just buy em!
Springs are perfect fit and coming with the bushings is very nice to have. "Easy" to install just takes some time and pb blaster on older vehicles. I cant speak on how well they work though because Amazon only got one to my house so far. So my jeep is sitting on one spring waiting for the other which said it would be here later that night. Its been 3 days and still no spring. Why am i paying for 2 day shipping again? Bottom line great springs but amazon sucks. UPDATE: I called amazon and it turned out that FedEx lost my package and amazon sent me another one overnight which was very nice! Got em installed fast once all bolts were pb blasted. To give you an idea of how well they work my jeep had a 1.5 inch lift and after taking that off it sat at the same heigth with the new springs. Very nice product at an affordable price!

I bought these because the reviews were decent but after I installed these in my Cherokee XJ then took my family for a ride. When we got back the leaf springs had totally flattened out. As in just a horizontal bunch of metal. Now a week later it still hasn’t come back up. If you plan to have anything other than yourself in the jeep you should get something else.
