Great starter for this price
I have kohler 17.5 HP motor 04 John Deere L110 mower. This starter works very well ! It has very strong and quick start up . Only thing i have a dislike to is the starter head . Keep your old starter till you get this new one in . Hold the two starters side by side look at where the bolts go . I found out on the head of new one was 1/16 th sort than my old one . Had to get two shams one for both bolts place them between motor block and starter . Other than that great little starter for your money wroth . I had it on for month now no Problems so far .

A perfect replacement at a perfect price.
My Husqvarna lawn tractor failed in the middle of cutting 4 acres of grass. The original starter would no longer spin the engine, and I was at a loss when I learned the price of a replacement at our local tractor sales store. I decided to check Amazon and I’m glad I did. My new starter arrived the following day, and 20 minutes later I was back in business. Good price, good service, and so far, an excellent product.

This starter bolted on and started it up before I could let g of the key . Lawn mower hasn't turned over that fast in a long time .

Fits and works but may require some shimming.
Good starter and good price but an FYI for people installing this is the half moon bracket might need to be shimmed away from the starter. Yes I know I have a million washers on the 1 bolt only because I didn’t have a bolt that fit it and this weapon didn’t come with a starter or the bolts when I got it so I worked with what I had. Anyway, with out shimming the bracket out the starter gear would hit that bracket and fail to sit back down after the motor fires up.
