Love this brush and comb set. They also sent coiled hair bands that I will pass along because I have short hair. The brush has the right amount of boar bristles for healthy hair and shine and the pins provide scalp stimulation and detangling. The comb looks like would but seems to be some kind of plastic. Either way it works great on my short hair when wet. I highly recommend this set! If you are looking for a new brush and comb set, I say, go for it!! I also have the mini boar bristle brush for my new purse. It is so much nicer than any other brush or comb I’ve had for on the go. It freshens your style quickly, easily and effectively. Love it!

This is perfect for brushing my ringlet/curly/wavy hair with no frizz. However, it also makes my fine hair oily if I brush too often. That comb is absolutely amazing and worth the prize of the set. It totally calms the curls and feels good against the scalp. Wish it could be longer.

Okay brush, it's not too stiff or soft BUT at least 3 bristles fall out each time I use it. At this rate, the brush will be bald within a month!

I bought this to help extend the time between washing my hair. I typically can go every other day but with this brush, I am able to go 3. The boar bristles really do help to move the oil off your scalp and down the hair shaft for soft shiny hair. The brush is very made well and easy to clean. Both my daughters want one now.

I want to preface this with saying my hair is already damaged since I used to bleach and dye it often, if your hair is already healthy then you might not have the same issues I did. My hair is very fine and it's always been frizzy while drying, but I don't think this brush helped much. It was difficult to run it through my hair even after going in with a detangling brush first and actively made it even frizzer than before; this is especially true for the shorter layers in my hair. It kind of feels abrasive even when I'm brushing my hair while its oily before a shower. I'm not expecting a brush to be super soft or whatever, but I don't think it would suit anyone with sensitive skin/scalp or if you already have damaged hair. It didn't work as a detangler, it didn't work as a normal brush, I ended up just using it to brush my dog's fur instead of my hair so it wouldn't be a wasted purchase. It works fine on their fur, and their fur is a lot thicker than my hair, so... Maybe you'll have better luck if you have thick hair? Not a great comparison but it's something. So like... Yeah it brushes your hair so it functions as a brush, but I think I'll stick with other types of brushes since it just didn't work for me.
