Too long to set up
The bit does indeed work, but the set up time to get it exactly where it needs to be is absolutely atrocious. It would of been nice to have a set up piece that came along with this. I have to purchase additionally if I intend to take full advantage. Otherwise it seems like a decent bit, but can't put it through it's paces to really see how well it performs.

Great quality for the price!
This bit works exactly as expected and saved my rear during a remodeling project. I used it to miter LVP around stairs as the stair nose system that came with the product was absolutely ugly. Basically this bit survived around 40 runs thru pressboard which is much harder than wood. I was really impressed! After those many runs with a hard material I would have expected to have to order another bit but nope! Still as sharp as when I bought it! Highly recommended!!

box bit
I do woodworking as a hobby and the bit worked wonderfully. It would have been useful if there was instruction for setup, but I have never received any instruction for setup with all my bits so this was nothing unusual. It was a great value and left a good cut, I would purchase again.

Bit can work well but ...
Three stars can be a bit harsh for this cutter but since it failed due to my application I never got to test it for easier uses, I can only go by what I've experienced. The 45 degree lock miter bit can deliver a good locking miter profile but my application was a bit too demanding for a bit with a 1/4 inch shank. I needed to cut the lock miter in the end grain of 3/4 x 1-1/2 inch oak. I built fixtures to hold the material in the horizontal and vertical feed positions and they worked quite well with soft wood during setup cuts but the strain of doing end cuts in oak was too much and although I was feeding it very carefully and slowly, the clamp holding the oak work piece in the fixture came loose, the cutter grabbed and bent the shank. All in all, a combination of too little router power at the low speed I was running, inadequate fixture for the hard wood, and the 1/4 inch shank not being beefy enough for the task. I'm certain the cutter can do a good job running with the grain in soft wood as in the demo videos.

Definitely not for the novice.
I use miter joints pretty often, so I was greatly encouraged at the idea of doubling the amount of glue surface it such a weak joint.Unfortunately I have used a router very little, and a router table not at all. This is not a cut for a novice, there is too much going on at the same time.It does make the cut though, I cannot knock it any stars because it does do what it is supposed to. I hope to be able to use it effectively in the future.

Good value bit!
Felt the packaging could have been a little better (bubble wrap and hard plastic case, but no real support). 3/4 lock miter cut hardwood plywood very nicely with minimal blowout (check your speed). Good value and nice bit.

Not as easy to use...
If you've seen the video advertisement where they zip two pieces across a router table and make a flawless corner joint, I just want you to know that this product isn't that easy to use. I don't know if it's this particular brand, or the advertising just glamourizes the reality of getting it to work properly. I'm still experimenting trying to figure out what it takes to make joints quickly and flawlessly with such a tool.

A neat router bit to make edges for cabinets
It takes a few pieces of practise wood to adjust to proper cutting to match pieces properly. It would work better with its size to have four cutter edges instead of two which work OK. Problem with two is that plywood tends to break up quicker since there are only two cutter surfaces; therefore plywood layers fragment quickly. running slower starts wood burning.Over all a great idea.
