LEGO Monster Fighters 9467 The Ghost Train

My son wanted a Lego train- the $300 one, and I just could not spend that much on Lego's. So I bought this monster train. I like this monster theme Lego did- glowing ghosts funny vampires swamp things and wolfmen. It's very cool. So we got this train and when he opened it I was a little worried there's tons of pieces, but he just sat down and got to building this train. It is so much cooler than I thought, first off it comes with a plane. I guess I didn't notice or read that on the box, and then there's the train with 3 cars attached. One of the train cars has bat type wings that flap up and down and you pull it. It has certain glow in the dark elements and was a great addition to a few of our other monster pieces.

I was worried about how many tiny pieces this came in - you're talking about five different bags (some with other bags inside them), and nothing at all is put together for you. Of course, that's the point of lego's, right? To put them together yourself? Fortunately, LEGO includes the most straight-forward, easy-to-follow instructions I have ever seen included with a toy. Ever. A baby could follow these directions and put together this masterpiece. And that's what you have in the end - a masterpiece. I love this. I love the gothic feel, the haunted turn, the darker side of Lego. LOVE it. I want to buy another box just to have it for a later date.

My 8-year old daughter saved up for months for this. It is pricey, as the larger Lego sets are, but she absolutely loves it. For her it was worth every penny. She has rebuilt the train several times and invited our next-door-neighbor, and fellow Legomaniac, over to build it with her. The glow-in-the-dark pieces are very fun as are all of the little details. Would be even better with tracks and a motor, but you can't have everything. :)

My opinion is that the lego is very cool. It has lots of details, even glow in the dark stickers and pieces. It is a little bit hard to built but fun to play with. I give it a 5/5 stars. It comes with three ghosts and two monster fighters. So you must try this lego it is awsome!

This is a great set! My 6 year old son loves this series and this did not disappoint. The trains, bones & ghosts are aplenty, and the glow-in-the-dark features rock! My son loves the hoses on the plane, as well as the hanging chain so the heroes can swoop in and grab the moonstone. Thanks Lego! Now please bring on the coordinating DS and Wii game!

Just like all the other lego sets this one is wonderful. A birthday present for my 5yr old son and one he couldn't wait to put together. He can do most by himself but loves to have help. Keeps busy for hours and then takes it apart to build his own creations. Endless possibilities.

My son saw this in the store and hasn't stopped talking about it. His bday is coming up but I didn't want to pay the store prices. I looked on Amazon and of course it was cheaper...I looked a few days later and cheaper than before. I can't wait to give this to my son. He is going to be so excited. He has a few of the Monster Fighters Lego sets and just loves them. This is a great Halloween time gift and great for boys!

This is a seriously cool set. My 8 year old saw it at a friend's house and it went to the top of his wish list. It is well made and a fun build. I helped out but not because I needed to-- it's just that fun to work on.

con lego si va sul sicuro. molto bello e fantasioso il treno. regalato ai miei nipoti di 4 e 6 anni, visibilmente entusiasti del dono. lo consiglio a chi ha bambini appassionati di lego. non badate alla fascia d'età indicata sulla confezione se avete bambini abituati a giocare col lego, anche i più piccoli se la cavano benissimo!

My son bought this with his birthday money and built it as soon as it arrived. It looks great and was easy for him an experienced lego builder to make. Unlike some sets there is alot to this set and it complements the other sets in this range extending play oppertunities. The train moves well on the floor so it isn't necessary to buy track for it.

Der Geisterzug von Lego Monster Fighters ist ein tolles Lego Set. Viele Teile leuchten im Dunkeln und die Vampirflügel an den Anhängern bewegen sich wenn der Zug geschoben wird. Ein gruseliger Spaß für alle kleinen Freunde von Geistern und Gespenstern. Die gesamte Serie ist toll gemacht und birgt einen hohen Spaßfaktor, selbst für die älteren Legofreunde. Und über die Qualität und Haltbarkeit der bunten Plastiksteinchen hat sich vermutlich schon jeder einmal ein Bild gemacht. Rundum ein großer Spaß und mein siebenjähriger Sohn war mehr als begeistert. Und ich bin es auch... schade nur, dass es das nicht schon vor dreißig Jahren gab...
