These cables are very good. My problem was I had a bad tube in my preamp.
These cables are very good. My problem was I had a bad tube in my preamp. This is my third set of these cables. The first set I purchased from Sennheiser for double the money and they are the same. I wonโt be doing that again and I havenโt. These cables are coiled but they have a lot of stretchability to them. This gives them an extended length of a donโt know maybe 6 feet but then you are really pulling on the connections at the headphone which is not really good. My last problem involved a bad tube on my preamp. So I really didnโt need the last pair of cables that I purchased. But thatโs OK I will get around to marring or breaking these cables in the next year or two anyway so itโs always good to have a spare set for this price. I use these for my Sennheiser HD 250 Linear II Headphones which Iโve owned for 20 years. These cables still give the audio reproduction of a new set of phones and they still sound great with these cables.

Received on time, and great replacement for HD25's
Works great, I bought this for my son to change out on his HD25's. It arrived on time and in new condition as requested. My son says he really likes the coil cord, and it was super easy to swap out with the shorter/regular cord that came with the HD25s.

Will Destroy Your Headphones
I try not to leave bad reviews unless something has really gone astray, but this item needs to be avoided at all costs. I have an old pair of Sennheiser HD480 that use somewhat rare connectors. You can purchase an extremely expensive cable from Sennheiser, but like most headphone enthusiasts, I tried to look for a better deal. Usually you can trust knockoff cables (like this one) to last a couple of years and then you can cheaply replace them again. Unfortunately, this item is definitely a "you get what you paid for." I attempted to take the cable out of my headphones to do some routine cleaning on my set of 480s and the cable connectors would not come out of the headphone no matter what I used (fingers, pliers, etc.). After enough tugging, the cable ripped from the connector, which then required almost an hour of disassembling the headphones and digging the cable prongs out of the headphone connection points (check out the picture). If you never plan to remove your cables from their removable positions, this cable might be worth the cost, but if you ever plan to switch your cables out or remove them for cleaning, stay away from this cable at all costs.

Excellent Cable with Room for Improvement
Excellent Cable with Room for Improvement I'm really enjoying the Richer-R Replacement Spring Coil Cable; it's a perfect fit for my Sennheiser headphones and works flawlessly. The overall performance is impressive, and it's clear that itโs made with quality in mind. However, thereโs a minor improvement that could elevate this product even further โ incorporating a right-angle connector would provide added convenience and possibly improve the durability of the connector. Nonetheless, itโs a solid purchase, and I'm pleased with its performance.

Good cable, but needs an upgrade
This replacement cable is very good. Itโs easy to install and the cord length is perfect for most DJ/ studio applications. The only thing I would change is the plug. That should be a right angle connector. The constant pressure of being bent at a right angle damages the line and Iโm on my second replacement in under a year.

Great cable for the Sennheiser HD25
I bought this cable as a suggestion from a user on a Djing forum I was a part of. He said it has great reviews and is just as good as the official Sennheiser coiled cable for the HD25 cans. He was absolutely correct. The cable feels very high quality and the sound of the headphones is not effected in any way negatively. It sounds as great as ever and having a coiled cable really helps me when Djing. I can move freely and not worry about yanking the cable out of my DJ mixer. If you have an HD25, don't waste your money on Sennheisers overpriced cable, pick this up and you won't be disappointed. A steal at this price! 5 stars all around! Peace!

Just works!
I had no trouble plugging the connectors into my (fairly old) Sennheiser HD 540 headphones. The connectors are a tight fit but that's what you want them to be. Everything works perfectly. The only thing that I frankly don't understand is why one of the two ends is shorter than the other. This would make sense if your headphone cable came in from behind your back over your right shoulder (left side being notably longer). But if I wanted to do it that way, I would not use a spring coiled cable but rather a straight one. Maybe it is just me, but if you are using the cable hanging down in front you will find that all the weight of the cable itself is pulling on one side.

Very good quality
Very good quality. I was looking to get a longer cable for my Sennheiser headphones. It was really easy to install, you just need some patience and a screw driver. Very good material, the coiled cable is heavy duty, Would buy again.
