Decent and cheap
i wanted a pipe cutter that was small but able to do both 10mm and 15mm it seemed expensive to buy 2 of those pacman shaped auto cutters because they only do fixed sizes. found this and its ideal for both sizes and anything in-between! its smaller than your average pipe cutter works well on 10mm and 15mm pipe even though it may take longer to cut than those auto cutters but i can live with that. sized perfectly just the right size for the job especially when you are cutting in tight quarters. highly recommend!

BMX - cuts bmx bars and forks
The advert for these included “steel” unlike a lot of others and it wasn’t a lie. If you don’t have a vice for a hacksaw and limited space, these cut the steerer tube of forks and handle bars both steel. I was skeptical about cutting brand new heat treated forks after chopping the bars down but with a bit of patience if you line these up right and don’t rush twisting it like crazy the cut through. I actually reckon I could cut another pair of handlebars with these still. Did the job. Other pipe cutters I have tried in the past didn’t work (one from screwfix it was orange and the same sort of price)

Betty pool product
The media could not be loaded. As people may see from the hit and miss from the other reviews, the product that I got was particularly poor. The sled isn’t aligned with the grooves and the 10 mm groove wouldn’t fit the pipe as you can see from the pictures and from the amount of filing I had to do. Despite all of that work, I need to use the pipe bender in advice and heavily Poole towards the right looking at it from the front in order for the pipe to be straight. In addition to that the projection from the base of the pipe bender which provides the rest for the pipe when bending it dents the pipe itself. I had to file it with the round file you know that this not to occur. Definitely not impressed. Also considering the amount of waste copper as it was totally unusable as it was

Cheap - Works
Bottom line is that this is cheap and does the job. Is it the best quality item you can buy? Nope. But it does not have to be as long as you use this as intended. In fact whilst the name this is sold under is clearly just another Chinesium knock off, punted out under a number of names, it's identical to one I remember on an old ship I worked on as Chief Engineer. That one lasted a number of years without breaking and, if it survives shipboard work it can survive anything. It's a metric pipe bender for small bore lines. It approximates to equivalent imperial/standard with no issues. In fact I bought this for my home as I was fitting a split AC unit to my house and the pipe typically used for domestic installations for the smaller units is 1/4" and 3/8". As I have a dislike of badly run pipework - a legacy of many years on ship's - I wanted to install my unit with neat lines and correct bends on the pipework. This did the job well leaving me with pipework of correct radius and nicely fitting.Overall, a decent bit of kit for the money. Which, isn't much.

Very poor quality
The space in the casting where the cutting wheel sits is too wide and so the wheel is free to move around, no matter how tight the retaining screw is. Does not cut straight as wheel does not run true. It cuts a helical track, slowly working itself down to tube. Used wheel and screw to fix my old cutter, and consigned the body to the bin.
