I've bought other replacement battery packs in the past, but this is the only one that gave me back the same 5 hour work time as the original OEM Asus battery pack. I don't know how long this will last, but I'll update this if there are any problems.

Battery started to loose time between charges after only 3 months of light use. Eventually started to just shut down after 10 minutes of operation on a full charge. Had to remove battery and reinstall to get it to work. After placing battery back into laptop it still shows good charge but then shuts down again after 5 or so minutes of use. Have given up and now using charger to operate laptop with no problem.

This battery fit my Asus NV56 laptop perfectly. It has pretty good life to it and would probably do better if my machine was more efficient. My only concern is if it will have a short life. I will update if it dies prematurely.

It replaced a 5+ year old original battery that was not charging and restored mobile life to a wife's favorite older laptop. Recently acquired so no experience w/ how long it will last but her laptop is working as she needs now so that's almost perfect.

Was easy to install and held a charge for about 2 hours of continuous use. After 13 months, it suddenly stopped holding a charge for more than 10 minutes. Seems more like something broke than that the battery life ran down.

My computer runs just like when I first bought it. I have an Asus. I am to move around the house now without having to always have my cord with me.
