If you have a beard, this is trimmer to get. Hand down, it's the winner. Lightweight, ergonomic shape, easily controlled. If you like your beard looking sharp, get this. This is a nice product and roughly on par with the one I just retired that was 20 years old. Yes, the old one lasted 20 years! It would still be running if I hadn't dropped it... for at least the third time. The one main difference is that the older one was mostly a metal case; this one has more plastic. But that's a trend with all products these days. It cuts well and does a nice edge. I don't use all the attachments... freehand is the way I go. Charges quickly and seems to last. In a year or so I'll know now well the battery holds up, but if the last one is any indication, it will have a very long life. Note that the ear trimmer is battery powered, not rechargeable. Takes 1 AA cell.

This item is awesome. I haven’t had to charge it since i bought it. Works great for trimming my beard and mustache. Easy to use and i can’t believe how long of a charge will last i recommend this product.

I replaced a broken 15 year old Wahl trimmer as it died for the last time. I like the quality of Wahl products and so purchased this as it seemed the closest to what I wanted. Many attachments, and way more than I'll ever use. It seems that it wants to be more than a trimmer and it fails as an overall clipper. Very budget oriented packaging which is fine with me. Pretty eco friendly. For me, this is a loser as a trimmer. I don't shave but 2-3 times a year. My old trimmer kept a 1 day stubble look well, but would 'nip' my neck occasionally. This does not cut with the same efficiency as the old one and not as close. More like 3 day stubble. With the trimmer attachments it doesn't cut as efficiently as my old one either. It was quick and easy to get my trimming done. This doesn't cut as 'aggressively' when trimming and takes 2-3 times as long to get the same work done. The transition from 1 day stubble to trimmed goatee, now looks more sloppy and shall we say I have 'blurred lines'. Less distinction between goatee and 'shaved' face. The nose trimmer works well. I used one 50 years ago and it pulled hair out. This does a nice 'clip job'. Not sure I'll continue using it as a pair of scissors has worked since I started to shave. Overall it's ok. But, not a hit with me.

Great value, hold a charge a long time, very convenient

This beard trimmer has power and durability! It is safe to use on your face. The speed of the device is amazing! It's rechargeable and portable-great for travel. It will certainly give you the best appearance. I love it and I'm sure you will too!

Loved this trimmer set. However, after 5 years the rechargeable battery will no longer hold a charge and there is NO WAY to replace it. This would be a 5 star review if the battery was replaceable but now I have to buy another one, and will not be purchasing the same. Nose trimmer works off AA batteries and is still all good.

I have not actually used this trimmer yet, but I did use the nose trimmer. The hair trimmer is rechargeable, but the nose trimmer is battery operated. Go figure. I put batteries in the nose trimmer and it worked fine. The hair trimmer comes already charged. Go figure. It is the only unit that is rechargeable. The product comes in a very shiny chrome finish, which is remarkable on first opening it from the box. It comes with two separate machines, one is for the nose, and the other is for hair and beard trimming. I have had many of these beard trimmers, and the chrome finish is the most remarkable feature about this particular product. It is really a chrome finish! And smooth! It is really outstanding. Since I have not really used the product yet, I would have to come back later to report. I did use the nose trimmer, and it works fine with the batteries. 11-30-2025 I don't remember when I sent that above review, but it was probably about 3 or 4 months ago. I finally used it, and it is the best hair and beard trimmer and nose trimmer that I have bought, which have been many. I just now received my new order for another one of these. It was because I cannot find the charger for the hair trimmer. So what? I will eventually find that charger, and I will now have two of these products which will probably last more than 10 years or so. The hair/beard trimmer requires a charger, but the nose trimmer requires only a single battery. This is my second purchase of this product, and I would buy it again.

Works well. The battery operated AA clipper is a waste of money. Should have been Li battery

Item not working. Seller not collecting item for return. It has been 2 months now and nobody came to collect item. Very poor seller. Don't buy from them.

Sabemos que la higiene personal es importante y más para nosotros los hombres que usamos barba, por lo que tenemos que tener una máquina que nos facilite el aseo de la misma por ello me di a la tarea de comparar diferentes máquinas y me decidí por ésta. La cual me pareció de muy buen precio y de excelente calidad. La he utilizado y sin problema he podido constatar su fácil manejo. Además me gusta que el intercambio de peines sea rápido y sencillo; y de contar con un estuche para guardarla con todos sus accesorios.

I am surprisingly happy with the Groomsman. I thought for the very cheap price it would not be any good but it has actually worked very well. I use it to trim my beard mainly but have also used it for manscaping (no cuts yet!). I also have a Brio Beardscape for most of my beard trimming (which is the Rolls Royce of beard clippers), however, the Wahl Groomsman has been excellent so far (only about a month or so). I recommend it because of the excellent price.
