Perfectly suited for explaining rocks by type to young dinosaur fossil hunters unable to read yet. While bigger would be better, some people prefer the bubble wrap packaging for easy carry and smaller size for easy placement on your school desk without crowding.

The rocks are nice looking and they are great to use so students can reference and have a real item visual of each type of rock process. However this is way overpriced for what you get. They are tiny rocks. For 24 dollars you can buy a large kit. I’ve also bought a similar item off a different website for 9 dollars and it’s the same quality.

I ordered this for a Sunday school lesson. Kids got to touch and feel the different kinds of rocks as well as see them! It was a win on their part.

Perfect for those that may have any science projects coming up! It breaks down each type of rock and gives information!
