I have the same model in office came with HPZbook, I like it's connectivity which can you up to two monitors via data display ports , and they Network LAN port, standard and type-c USB ports, it's regular power supply plug and Type-C charger & data port works better with zbook like laptop, it also works with my personal laptop that has only type-c charger & data port only. Easy laptop wakeup from sleeping by pushing the power button at the top . Single plugin connects everything to my laptop.Very good laptop accessory for home use. Okay if you want to carry with you while 'HP USB-C Travel Dock (T0K29AA)' is better for travel.

I got this to use on my elitebook 840 g5 and found it also works great on a 2018 IPad Pro with full peripheral and display support.

Purchased product on March 19, malfunctioned in May. The two USB connections stopped working. According to Amazon, product should be replaced within 90 days from seller. Tried contacting seller with numerous emails, but no response. Don’t deserve the one star. Don’t waste your money!!!

Tenía muchas dudas en adquirir este producto, porque siendo tan caro, no encontraba en ningún lugar -incluso páginas y foros oficiales- la confirmación de que fuera compatible con mi portátil; dado que este producto solo lo disponen a priori para modelos de perfil comercial.Sin embargo, puedo decir que funciona perfectamente con mi HP ENVY laptop (mod. 15-ep0008ns) y cumple con todos los propósitos que perseguía: suministro eléctrico del portátil (carga la batería) y funcionamiento con dos pantallas 4K añadidas, que mediante un cable Displayport adecuado, tira a 60Hz de refresco.Además tiene muchos puertos adicionales para conectar otros periféricos y la propia red Ethernet.Lo tiene todo y está fabricado en calidad premium.Un detalle más, muy chulo: como suministra energía ya sea por el cable de alimentación como por el puerto Thunderbolt, la parte superior de la propia base funciona de pulsador, para encender/suspender/apagar el portátil. Es muy útil si lo quieres tener cerrado porque utilizas sólo pantallas externas...Muy contento y por mi parte, 100% recomendable.

Ich betreibe mein HP Omen 17 damit und es funktioniert wunderbar. Habe mich für die 230W Version entschieden, da ich beim Gamen mit der Grafikkarte plus CPU in meinem Notebook über die 100W drüber komme, die normale USB-C-Docks leisten können.Was bekommt man mit dem Dock?Da ich selbst damals nur hoffen konnte, ob das mit den Kabeln so läuft wie gedacht, hier mal eine Beschreibung vom Aufbau: Die Docking-Station hat ihr eigenes Netzteil und ist somit einmal via Schuko-Stecker am Strom anzuschließen. Auf der anderen Seite kommt ein Doppel-Kabel direkt aus dem Dock heraus, also nicht anzustecken sondern fix verbaut. Diese beiden Kabel sind:- ein Thunderbolt-3 Anschluss (USB-C Stecker)- ein Stromanschluss für HP-Notebooks (ob andere Notebooks damit funktionieren, weiß ich nicht... ist glaube ich ein normaler 19,5V Gleichstromanschluss (einfach nach "HP Omen Netzteil" googeln und den Ausgangs-Anschluss checken und mit eurem Notebook vergleichen))Die beiden Stecker halten nur magnetisch zusammen, können also schön separiert werden (die Buchsen für TB-3 und Strom-Eingang liegen ja doch weiter auseinander).Funktionen:Die Software muss einmalig installiert werden (funktionier größtenteils automatisch unter Windows) und nach einem Neustart funktioniert es dann wie gewünscht. Ich habe außer den VGA-Anschlüssen schon alles ausprobiert und es funktioniert alles. Ich habe nur 1x Full-HD Monitor angeschlossen, über multiple Monitiore kann ich daher nix sagen. Ich habe auch eine externe SSD via USB-C probiert, welche parallel dazu auch ihr Maximum von etwas über 1 GB/s erreicht hat.Dinge, auf die man eventuell achten sollte:- Beim Aufwachen aus dem Standby geht mein Monitor oft 2-3x aus und wieder an. Es erscheint also der Windows-Schirm, dann wieder für 2 Sekunden schwarz, dann wieder Windows, etc. Das kann mitunter 10-15 Sekunden dauern. Danach geht aber alles bestens.- Der Audio-Anschluss für Kopfhörer wird bei mir für Teamspeak genutzt. Allerdings muss ich nach dem Starten von Teamspeak immer auch nochmal den Kopfhörer ab und wieder an stöpseln, sonst erkennt es Teamspeak nicht. Das könnte aber ein reines Problem von Teamspeak sein, weil der normale Windows-Sound damit keine Probleme zu haben scheint.Noch ein kleiner Tipp, den ich gebraucht hätte: Ich habe an dem Ding ziemlich lange nach dem Power-Button gesucht, der das ganze Dock überhaupt einschaltet (und damit auch das Notebook mit ein- und ausschaltet) --> die ganze Oberseite (also quasi der Deckel) fungiert als Power-Taste... oder zumindest die vordere Seite davon. Hier muss man etwas aufpassen, dass man die Taste nicht versehentlich drückt, wenn man die Dock mal etwas zur seite schiebt oder vielleicht ein USB-Gerät anhängen will.UPDATE Juli 2022:Inzwischen hängt mein Firmen-Notebook (Dell) im Home Office auch öfters dran. Funktioniert alles tadellos, auch mit den inzwischen aufgerüstetetn Monitoren (2x 32" 1440p@60Hz).Das oben erwähnte Phänomen mit dem aus/an-gehen vom Montior beim Aufwachen aus dem Standby ist mir auch schon länger nicht mehr aufgefallen. Ich schätze, das ist mit einem der Firmware-Upgrades vom Dock oder Notebook mal gefixt worden.Weiterhin 5 Sterne!
