I like the blue ABCCanopy umbrella :(1) The underside is pitch black. Sun light appears to be completely blocked.(2) It has 8 ribs, instead of 6. It is more resistant to inversion caused by winds.(3) The construction appears to be good. Ribs are thicker than those of regular umbrella.I have a problem with the umbrella failing to lock on closing. Amazon took care of it.

I would like to thank a few others that wrote reviews about this umbrella.1, Yes it is cooler under this umbrella. The umbrella totally blocks out the sun.2, Once opened i could not put the umbrella back in the case either.3, Because others said the umbrella ripped when attempting to snap it I did not force it. i just got a large rubber band to hold it together when it is closed.Overall this is a nice quality umbrella. I returned two others before keeping this one. The umbrella is study and small enough to put in most bags.Good umbrella!

I was looking for one of those reverse folding umbrellas. Somehow I thought this was one of those and ordered it. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't. Since it was going to rain the week I bought it I thought i would try it out first before deciding to return it. But I am keeping it!For someone who is used to cheap flimsy umbrellas, this was a surprise. It is a really nice, very sturdy, well-made umbrella. Because of this, it is a bit heavier than I am used to. It seems reinforced with thicker material.I live down south where it doesn't rain that much - I could see this being really good for someone who lives in a more rainy area just because it seems to be a more heavy-duty umbrella that wont' let you down.

I've had this umbrella for a week or so but it's held up to strong winds and heavy rain without any issues. It's big enough for one person which is what I wanted so I could walk around town without a large umbrella taking up too much space or bumping into people. Opening and closing the umbrella is super simple and once it's closed it stays closed.It doesn't rain too often where I live but when it does it's either from a light drizzle or a heavy downpour and strong winds. This umbrella kept me dry and didn't flip inside out when the wind picked up. I've also used it during the day to keep the sun off me and it helps with the heat as well. The umbrella isn't transparent at all but I got it in black so I don't know if other colors are less transparent.The umbrella came with a little pouch but once I took the umbrella out and used it, it was impossible to put back in the pouch so I haven't used it since.

We bought 2 of these umbrellas for a trip to Ireland. They are extremely sturdy and come with a nice slip cover for nice packing and storing. Great product!

Sooo great to find a 99.89% sun protection umbrella!!! NOT EASY TO FIND on Amazon. Great quality, doesn’t malfunction. Beautiful. Just got a facial laser and need full protection from the sun rays. LOVE this too much ! ♥️😍

Decided to pay more for a more durable umbrella and wasn't disappointed. An unlatch and a button press extends the umbrella to full length, another button press shakes out the water so you can close it. No wind storms yet, but it definitely feels sturdy. Recommended.

Better than expected!!! Light weight. Soft handle. Feels sturdy. Perfect size for one person. Haven't tried it with two people yet. Received the next day! Going to buy a second one for my husband's car.

Flimsy and to closed and store into the pouch was ridiculously messy and difficult.

小学校高学年の娘が欲しがって、表が黒で内側が薄ピンクに濃いピンクの花が散ってる模様を買いました。買う時は、ドギツイ感じがしたのですが…届いて娘が使ってて、凄く可愛い。同級生にも可愛いと人気のようです。日傘にも使えるので日傘としても使ってます。使用感は、１ヶ月くらいで骨が折れました。問い合わせて交換してもらったものはまだ健在です。自動開閉の勢いが強く、この勢いのせいで骨が折れやすいんじゃないかと思いました。自動で閉めた後に長さを畳む時はかなり硬く、小学生の娘は地面に刺して上から体重かけて押して畳んでます。子どもが持つなら、早くても小学校高学年から、でしょうね。自動開閉時に手を添えてゆっくり勢いを抑えつつ開閉すれば、骨が折れづらく長持ちするんじゃないかなと思います。問い合わせて修理を願った程に娘が柄を気に入ってるので、長持ちさせたいところです。

小学1年の息子の置き傘用に青空の傘を購入しました。開閉ボタンが固めでしたが、スパッと勢いよく開き、またボタンを押すと閉じるところまでは問題なし、です。ただ、親骨を縮める時は成人女性の私でもかなり力が必要なくらい固いです。しかも骨組みの中央(傘骨が集まっている部分)に、針金をねじってとめてある部分があり、それが剥き出しになっていました。開いている時は骨組みに沿っていて気づかなかったのですが、閉じた時には骨組みから飛び出している形になっていたので、知らずに傘を閉じた時に親指に深く刺さり、怪我をしました。不良品だったのかもしれませんが、危険だし、固過ぎるので、返品しました。残念です。

１年生の娘のために購入。自動開閉は使うのが難しいのと、ランドセルに入るかサイズが疑問でしたが、とても安かったのでダメだったら親が使えばと思い購入しました。少し重いですが、コツを掴めば１年生の娘でも開閉出来て、何より本人が自動開閉がとても気に入り、重さも気にならないようで大喜びでした。とてもしっかりしているので壊れにくそうです。

小学3年生の子供に買いました。１年生から自動開閉折りたたみ傘を学校に置く予備として使わせていましたが、壊れたので買い替えました。普通の折りたたみ傘はしまうのが子供には大変ですが、自動開閉は折り畳むところまで自動なので、クルッとテープを留めるだけで済みます。開くにはボタンを押すだけ簡単です。1つ難を挙げるなら、しまう時に伸縮の棒部分を押し込んで短くするのが大変です。力が要ります。慣れだとは思いますが便利なのでオススメします。
