Flipped

I generally don't read fiction and not romantic stuff especially. But this book is an exception for me. It is a lovely book to read. It is special for me as it is very much relatable to my own story. The style of writing and narrating a love story of childhood days are just refreshing to read. I recommend everyone to read it as it is a refreshing story to read.

I loved this book. I mean I've watched the movie before but this book is more appealing ❤️

Flipped is a sweet and adorable story of friendship,first crush and mostly finding oneself as we grow or as the author conveyed seeing the whole picture and not just the parts. Told in the dual perspectives of Julie and Bryce. When Bryce's family first moved in,Julie was delighted to have someone of her age in the neighbourhood to play with. While Julie is sweet,playful and charming Bryce was annoyed by her constant following around and being in second grade they were called as 'couple' by their other classmates. Throughout the book,every scence is told by both the characters and its no repetitive or bothersome rather its nice to hear both side of the same scene because some details are added each by the narrator. As they enter in their teen years, Julie learns to see the world in a beautiful way,her father always guiding her to remain on the path where appreciating little things,being thankful for everything in life is a good thing. I'll admit i watched the movie first and then read the book but to be perfectly honest a lot of details were embellished.But both of them were pretty amazing. 4 out of 5 adorable stars for JULIE BAKER and BRYCE LOSKI.

Flipped is a magical book ! The characters are so well written that one can’t help but get invested in them. I wish I had read the book when I was younger. If you’re looking for a book that will make you a mushy mess of emotions and yet be a lightread, one that you would want to read again and again. It is heartwarmingly good. If you like the book, I would recommend watching the movie as well. It is a truly beautiful adaptation that will leave you with no complaints ! And also, before I forget, the packaging and delivery of the book was very satisfying ! 😅👍🏼

Both my 9 year old son and I loved this book. Even though it's not an action packed adventure, the characters are built so beautifully that you keep turning the page, wanting to find out what happens next.
