Advanced Platinum Series P450 450w 12-band LED Grow Light - DUAL VEG/FLOWER FULL SPECTRUM

This is my 4th LED through Advanced Platinum. This review will be based upon: quality, performance and customer service (not getting into price, well because, you get what you pay for, Literally!!).I purchased the P450 to fill the void in my tent. The light is much like the others, well constructed, the packaging is secure & sound upon arrival. These lights function as described by the owner of Platinum on YouTube. The lights in Veg emit a cooler color spectrum (blues/greens/whitish) just what the plants seek out (unlike other LEDs, which are heavy dominant in red, which is great for bloom, but not complete). Having the ability to offer the plant both Veg/Bloom and both together, is called DIVERSITY, and who doesn't like options. I know the plants do. I've had these lights running next to a KIND X3-H10 model, and the plants are happier under the Platinums. I mean, it's not even close......So onto customer service: Since the day I inquired about the light(s), through today, I can still get in touch with the owner, with a phone call, or a very quick response via email. That in itself is worth it. Mark is a very responsive to questions and concerns alike. As a business owner myself, to be able to connect with your customers, quickly and effectively is priceless imo. The company offers a great 5 year warranty (granted I have yet to need it or use it, and hope I never have to,,,,,,,, but, I know, Mark will resolve it accordingly).Overall, great product, clearly a tier above the rest of the wanna be's out there regarding LED offerings. I am sure you can continue to always strive t find something better.....BUT not me, Mark and Platinum have earned my trust and business.

Well this is my 3rd received light from Amazon due to damage in shipping! There needs to be more precaution when dealing with these items AMAZON! The first light came with a obvious corner damage and a screw rolling around. The second had rows of the lenses off and rolling around. The hassle of getting and explaining you troubles to people in an oversea call center is a nightmare! They respond with automated responses and never feel like they understand my questions .About the light.. It seems to be working great right now! The extra red from the flower is awesome. It runs quiet and seems to do the job. However I do not think that it is any better than some cheap other ones. From what I have seen and researched is that these are drop from China and then platinum slaps there casing around it and charges an arm and a leg. They are helpful and will respond to email quickly so I do give them that!

I read countless reviews before taking a leap of faith and getting two of these for my 5X5 set up. They were packaged exceedingly well and are solid quality units with quiet fans. After getting all the conditions correct with temperature and humidity and finding the sweet spot from my seedlings they started growing like weeds on the veg setting alone. Once they're ready for me to hit the bloom switch I anticipate great things! Their service and warranty speaks volumes I would at this time highly recommend these lights and this company they even answer any questions you may have quickly!!! I'm using 2 of these lights in a 5x5 tent and get good coverage b. But considering a p300 yo fill any gaps.. plants indeed respond to these lights they raise theirs leaves rght up towards the LED. My plant do well at veg then really take off when you hit Bloom. I'll be getting a p300. Three lights and excellent coverage.Okay I have been growing now for two months in a 5X5 tent and am impressed... Will be popping tomatoes and peppers for the garden using just the veg light on my two P450's in April. Cheap no..... On par with more expensive lights yes. Good investment folks... Okay it's 2019 I'm into my second year using my two P450 and have purchased one P600 as well these lights rock! Very impressive performance after two years!

This thing is just an overpriced chinese led, their claims are not relavent to what most people are growing with this. yeah its got outstanding par values at 6”, try keeping your plant 6” from this thing and see what happens lol. i had it for three days and it was doing ok, it is bright lol, but on the third day i saw my temperature spike from 74 to 83. after readjusting my fan ( i thought i might have set it on the timer and not setup the timer or somethjng stupid) i noticed it looked like the inline fan on the light was not moving, thinkjng back i dont think it was moving from the day i got it, but the blurple light is so bright i had a hard time seeing if it was moving in the led color light. upon further inspection the entire fan looks like it broke off of the brackets that was holding it up and was literally lating on the light board. what ive learned is all these led grow lights companies that say theirs is the best, is probably a scam, i dont know maybe the light wouldve grown great flowers, but the fan breaking was enough for me to say, seeya later, gimme a refund on this overpriced chinese led ( from hawaii theyre american!!) lmao. no lie, would not purchase again, do yourself a favor and do the same.p.s i called platinum lights and the guy told me he would send me a new fan free of charge so i could reassemble it myself and not have to send the light out and not have lights for my plants. a nice gesture, it was decent customer service, but lets get real, i paid 500$ for what is essentially a viparspectra with a different name which i had before this light (also returned here a week ago) for that amount of money i ASSUMED the quality of the PRODUCT AS A WHOLE woyldve been better than 3 days with a broken fan, gimme a break, straight junk

This is a great light and I have had very good results. My only complaint is that it is advertised as covering a 4 foot by 4 foot area and it actually only covers about a 3 foot by 3 foot area. I ha d to install fluorescent lights on the outside of my 4 foot by 4 foot tray. Get the larger size if you have a 4 foot by 4 foot tray.
