1/14 Tacon Thriller Short Course Truck Brushed Ready to Run 2.4ghz (Red)

Very durable entry-level, not as fast as the ECX ruckus or as fast and the controller has limited range.I probably would not buy another one but this has actually withstood all the jumps at the local RC tracksI'm fearing the motor may be burning out soon, considering the cost to upgrade this to brushless you may be better off just buying the brushless version and soldering on some Deans connectors

This car is awesome fun! But I would buy the brushless version next time. For one thing, after 5 minutes of driving the engine gets scaulding hot and the run time on the battery is 5 minutes. When it breaks (It does break very easily) you can't contact the company to ask questions! (by Jack, age 11)

Burned out the stock motor after 3 runs. 3 new motors, a new esc and alot of gearing changes finally got it to run without burning up. I used a Traxxas 18 turn motor, heat sinked speed controller and dropped the pinion gear from a 19 tooth to a 16 tooth. Seems to be working now but I also pulled the 4 wheel drive train out and am running on 2 wheel drive. Not happy with this truck as I bought it for my son to play around with on our back yard track, but the fact that I basically had to redesign the drive train is very frustrating. Hopefully the Brushed system is better quality.

Great little truck, fast ,durable,lots of fun. My 12 yr old son loves it.Might have to buy one for myself so we can race.
