DeepCool RGB 200EX RGB LED Strip, SYNC Controlled via 12V RGB 4-pin Header on Motherboard, SYNC with Other 12V RGB Devices

Bought these as a replacement to my.NZXT Hue+ system as the powr cable broke on that:Pros:Nice and bright- can't fault the LED quality itself at all. As bright as you'd ever need it.Good white colour- a huge number of RGB LEDs are terrible at producing pure white. These ones are very decent and as you can see from the photo, the white is pretty close to perfect (a bit cold but good enough).Good build quality- these are very nicely sleeved at the ends and have chunky clips to keep them connected which is miles better than some LED strips I've used.ConsUses proprietary connector- as good as the clips are at the ends of the strips, it does additionally mean that these can't be daisy chained with other 12V RGB strips or devices, which is pretty frustrating as would add so much value to them.Poor magnets- although these do have magnets included, they are so weak they are effectively useless. The weight of the cable was easily enough to pull them off, so you will have to resort to using the adhesive or getting creative.Distance between the two strips-When you daisy chain the two strips- together (which is the only option for how to use these), there wire connecting the two of them is about 15cm long between the two strips. This means if you are putting it around the edge of your case as I have done, there's just an area that either will have no light, or have a bunched up cable. Not ideal. Would have liked a shorter terminator for the strips, and an additional extension cable for if required.

I actually got two packs of this RGB kit to go with by B450 Prime motherboard, and it works well. The Asus software got it up and running quickly and its really nice to have an illuminated PC case.The light strips themselves have self adhesive and magnetic attachments, and with that I tried out the positions of the strips using the magnets to check they worked well before then using the self adhesive strips.In use, I love the effect of backlighting the mesh sections of the case, and I also enjoy being able to see what is going on inside the case.I would advise anyone looking at adding RGB strips to their computer to confirm the type of RGB connection needed for their system. Some motherboards use a 4 pin header, some use a 3 pin, so double check compatibility.Overall, I love the way these have made my system look!

Easy fit, 4 pin RGB 12v (not addressable RGB =3 Pin 5v) works perfect with motherboard control - MSI X70 board.

Has improved the aesthetics of my computer several hundred per cent!

Pretty nice works well and attaches to the cooler fans to run on one connection directly into the motherboard no controller needed

Bought for my partners pc, absolutely unbelievable! Better than my corsair ones, at nearly double the price. I will 100 percent buy these again!
