Infallible Pro-Spray & Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray

This product works really well to lock makeup in place and significantly extend makeup wear. I personally find it to be completely comprable to UD allnighter, which had long been my favorite. Some say that the mister of the UD is better, but when I spray both bottles they seem exactly the same to me. People have also said that the infallible has a more chemical smell than UD. The sprays do smell slightly different, but pretty similar and alcohol-like. My guess is that the only difference is UD has added some fragrance. I'm very happy to have found the perfect dupe for less than 1/2 the price! I will also mentioned that I have tried a few other drugstore setting sprays that I don't think are at all comprable: 1.) Both Nxy matte and Dewy- they both seemed like exactly the same formula. The spray is much stronger. The formulas felt really dry and sticky on my face like hairspray and made me want to wash my face. I personally hated them both. 2.) Milani make it last- smells and feels nice. Had a fine mister. Gives skin a nice finish, but did nothing to lock in makeup and extend wear. 3.) Wet and wild photo focus- feels comfortable but did not significantly extend wear time .

Works better than most other setting sprays I’ve tried, and the price is hard to beat. I’ll definitely keep repurchasing this one.

I have tried so many different types of setting sprays and this is the best by a long shot. After 12 hours of wearing it, through work and my daily commute on the bus and train, my makeup still looks good. It doesn't ever look greasy either. I have never had to reapply! And it doesn't make my skin feel dirty. I will never try another setting spray again; I'm sold. Definitely recommend if you've been told you need a matte or anything like that because I've tried them all and nothing works like this. Makeup stays put all day, but is still easy to take off. Great quality and great price.

Hey all. I found this while looking for a less expensive version of Urban Decay's "All Nighter." The reviews seemed amazing, but the reality was not _quite_ as good as the comments. For background, I'm an unusual case. I'm trans and need makeup to pass. I have always struggled with beard shadow showing through. I can hide it with some film makeup techniques, but of course, that requires that your makeup actually stays on! For years, I have carried a clutch of makeup to do touch ups at least every 3 hours, because no setting spray worked longer than that, until I tried UD "All Nighter." It literally gives me eight or more hours of never-have-to-think-about-it longevity. This product saved my life. I am not afraid to socialize with it on, it literally improves the quality of my life, so it's worth the price. So what about L'Oreal Infallible Pro? It's _very_ good. I use this every day if I'm not going out, or not out for long. It doesn't smell like much of anything, it DOES set everything in place, and it acts just like All Nighter when you set your makeup. The issue is it doesn't give me the same longevity. I am touching up again within 4-5 hours. Usually just a smattering of powder does the trick, it's not like the whole look disappears. (Black Opal Oil Absorbing Pressed powder is maybe the best thing you can carry in your purse.) Sometimes this is fine, and I imagine for people without my specific problem, or other discoloration and "must-cover" skin issues, it will work great. Certainly if you use less makeup, it must work better. (I use powder, color correction, concealer/contour, foundation, and more powder every day. That's a lot to hold in place!) The spray nozzle splurts a LOT of product at once, which you have to get used to. I use a lot of little taps instead of ever pressing hard. I love the amount of product they give you in this bottle, too. All Nighter is massive at 4 ounces, but this is close at 3.4 ounces. A lot of $10 products only give you between one and two ounces. At $36 and $14, that makes All Nighter $9 an ounce, and Infallible $4.11 an ounce. Less than half the price! And the bottle fits in your bag better than the All Nighter. This is WAY better than a lot of setting sprays I've tried around this price, it's just not up to the standard of my Holy Grail. But still, I'm not someone who wants to use a $36 setting spray every day. L'Oreal Paris Infallible is a 'recommend' from me.

This is the BEST setting spray in the world. I’ve used it for almost a decade, & I’ve gotten so many compliments on how nice it makes my skin look. It gives a shiny look, so you need a finishing powder afterwards, other than that you’re good. It lasts all day & night too! It takes a little bit to dry naturally, so I just use my hair dryer on low or something to air my face & then it will dry super fast. Don’t waste your money on expensive brands, you don’t need to truthfully. I HIGHLY recommend!

I have used this product for several years and found it useful.

the product says it sets and extends your makeup. it doesn't do that at all. i did my makeup at 9am, and then set it using this spray. i followed the instructions on the bottle. then by 1 pm my makeup started looking really oily and moved around. it really ruined my day and i tried it many other times with different techniques but still it does not work for me. i do not recommend at all it is not worth the money.

While it isn't the cheapest option, this has easily proven to be the best setting spray available at the drugstore, and I cannot think of one brand I haven't tried. I have very sensitive dry/combination skin and it holds quite well. I also pair it with the L'oreal Infalliable foundation (the dewy one with the blue writing, not the matte) and they work excellent together.

Al principio no me gusto porque no lo estaba usando bien. Primero que nada agitenlo super bien chicas hasta que deje de hacer como sonido el agua y luego presionen hasta abajo el atomizador para que la bruma sea mas uniforme y no suelte gotitas (si no lo presionas hasta abajo suelta como gotas grandes), al final dejen secar totalmente el producto yo uso un ventilador de mano para que sea mas rapido y ya al final sellan con polvo otra vez. No queda totalmente mate pero si es mucho mas mate que otros fijadores (como el que yo usaba antes de Beauty Creations que no matificaba nada) y ya una vez que sellas con polvo queda super mate. Se siente que si alarga mas la vida del maquillaje y ayuda a que no se mueva, les juro que no me había gustado pero usandolo bien entendí lo excelente que es. Lo recomiendo al 100%, les juro que jamás me había durado el maquillaje asi de intacto tanto tiempo.

I absolutely give this a five star.. it is that good.. i base this rating on my own experience.. i used this over my foundation, blush etc etc and went out in 35 deg heat and full 100% humidity in goa last month for a function. I sweated like nobody's business. My tissue napkins were litellary getting soggy.. i thought for sure the makeup must be pretty much gone. But after like 5 hrs wen i got home i was freaking surprised.. my foundation had faded only around the mouth. The blush contour was there as b4. No kidding.. evrn my eyebrows looked as if they were freshly filled in. All in all it did wat it was supposed to do.. save my make up from vanishing in challenging weather. I have 2 tips though.. one let the spray settle down for atleast 5 mins before stepping out. And second is if u are sweating just dab and blot no wiping dragging motion. Use a thin tissue paper rather than regular handkerchiefs.. also helps if you do ur makeup in a cool room that prevents sweating before ur foundation powders etc get a chance to settle

Its a clr less and floral smelled fixing spray. I lyk it bcz its a nyc fixer for this price range. It lasts longer if we coat it 2 tyms (after primer+foundation and den at the last). It will keep the makeup not smudged for abt 6 to 8 hrs in AC n 2 to 3 hrs in normal tropical conditions. I wud surely go for it the next tym too as i hvnt got a better fixer in dis price range.
