Sturdy and works as advertised, though it doesn't help that much
This works as advertised. At first, I thought the straps weren't long enough. Then I realized that you lengthen them differently than I expected, so it was long enough. I don't know why some people said it was flimsy. The platform was very solid and sturdy. I like that my feet didn't fall together constantly but also weren't forcible separated as with some models. I don't know that it helped very much though. There was barely room for it on the plane. I had to have it very low to get my feet into it, and it didn't seem to make me all that much more comfortable, especially because it meant my knees were bent, whereas there was room to fully extend my legs if I took them out of the hammock. I still think it was worth it overall. It would work better in a bigger plane/one with more room for the passenger, but it was nice to have more position options on the plane.

Adjust it correctly for a super comfy flight!
I waited to review the MyEZFly Foot Hammock until I used it on a slew of both domestic and long haul international flights. It's also important to note that I used it in the standard 31" (ish) pitch economy seats on both Southwest and United and in Economy Plus with a 35-36" pitch on United.First, in response to some of the reviewers comments, even with very cramped leg room you absolutely can still use this foot hammock. It is all in the strap adjustments you make. I am 5'8" and in economy, my knees are uncomfortably close to the seatback tray in front of me. Still, I can stretch my legs under the seat in front of me in any seat. So, I stretch and then raise my legs to the point where they are touching the underside of the seat in front of me to see how high/low I have to adjust the straps, then I adjust them then slide the hammock over the seat back tray onto the trays back arms and raise the tray back up. I then slide one foot in and then the other. Because of the height of the seat in front of you, sometimes you will only be able to rest the soles of your feet on the padded board part of the foot hammock. Other times like on my Southwest flight I was able to rest the calf of one leg on the board, and rest my other foot against my calf (my knee was flopped outward against the window seat wall). In a not so short nutshell, you will likely have to make several adjustments until you get the right length and comfort level, but every flight I use this hammock and every time I have to adjust it a couple times to get it just right.Second, read the seller notes about making sure you buy only from them so that you know you're getting the product as shown in the picture. The MyEZFly has like a 4"x8" (ish) hard board encased in a ribbed sturdy padded outer cover. The straps are also sturdy. It also comes with a small carrying bag.I did buy a soft hammock, too, which my kiddo uses, but I prefer this one with a sturdy base. I am just a regular Amazon customer and did not receive this product in exchange for a review. I rate it an easy 5 stars for comfort, quality, and durability.

Durable and easy to store
This product is good for those who are short and travel. I have long legs so this product wouldn’t work very well for me on a plane but I did attach it to a chair at home and it was pretty comfortable! It was sturdy but also when your done with it it folds away neatly in a small bag easy for storing! Feels like good quality material and feels durable! It’s also really easy to use. Though I wouldn’t recommend this for people with long legs if your looking to use it on a plane, but to all those shorties out there, this would work for you!!

Not convenient because of the limited space between seats
I purchased it for an international trip and it just did not meet my expectations. First off because of the tight space on a plane, trying to get it set up and in place was a challenge and then because it hangs from the fold down tray I felt that it was disturbing the passenger in front of me while I set it up and then again when I tried to place my fee in it because of the tugging action when moving my feet. Also I am not inclined to remove my shoes on a plane (unsanitary) and had to in order to seek some semblance of comfort. Gave up trying to use it.I wrote a personal note to the person after attempting to use it. I let them know it was a good idea; however, not something I would recommend. I tossed it in my donation bag.

No more numb legs
I got it for my son to use in backseat as his feet dangle and go numb from sitting on high back booster. This works perfectly and it’s sturdy and padded.

It works!!
I used “My EZ Fly Airplane Travel Rest Hammock” on a red eye flight from San Francisco to the east coast. My super budget airline ticket had me sitting in the middle seat of a cramped flight. There was minimal leg room between the rows so it took some maneuvering to get the product onto the food tray without disturbing my row mates, but once I did and put my feet into the hammock sling I felt immediate relief and was able to relax for the duration of the trip even in cramped circumstances. The product is simple and effective. It’s lightweight and comes conveniently packed in its own small bag. To tell the truth I found this product more useful for a long flight than the neck pillow I’ve been carrying around for years! Thumbs up!

Excellent for long haul flights.
Easy to use and very comfortable. I paid close attention to the person in front of me as it attaches over the tray table. It did not cause the seat to move when I moved about using the foot rest. I liked the width and the way it is made so it does not collapse causing your feet to hit together. I used it in an exit row on United and in economy seating on Ethopian Airlines and both worked well. Traveling for 36 hours this footrest was a godsend. I am 5’3” but my husband who is 5’9” also used it successfully on all flights. This foot rest helps to take the pressure off of the back of the thighs and lower back. Also, needed to contact customer service and they were extremely accommodating and helpful sending us a full replacement item because one of the foot rests came without the travel bag. Highly recommend.
