Lightweight and compact. No leaks if you tighten properly and make sure the gasket seats. I don't have experience with camelback but I'd say this is a good alternative for much less $$. I'd buy camelback or another high end brand if I were going deep back country and my life depended on it

Fantastic quality. The mouthpiece on this was super easy for my 4yr old-much easier than mine (different brand) which requires you to bite/pull. Kept his water very cool during our 5 mile hike. The only flaw we ran into was there is no dust cover on the mouthpiece. With an adult or older child this would probably be fine, but dust and sand will stick to the rubber piece you drink from. And since my 4yr old loves to dig and whatnot I found myself cleaning it very often.

Practical for runs and better than a carrying a water bottle.

This hydration pack has been so useful when I go on longer hikes with my dogs. It fits well and is comfortable, and the dogs have learned to drink from it as well. It is so nice to be hands free when I'm running through the woods with my two boys and it holds a fair amount of water - on our longest hikes, we've still had some water left when returning to the car. Very happy with this purchase!

This was purchased for my petit 6yr old to use when we go hiking, bike riding, or to the local county fair. She loves having her own water and I love not having to carry water for her. The pocket is great for snacks like gummy packs and granola bars. the stretch cords on the back are strong enough to hold her sweatshirt. I do have to tuck the straps up so that they don't get stuck in the bike wheels. Its easy to clean. One was also purchased for my 9 yr old son.

I just got it so I haven’t used it. I did manage to wash the reservoir with warm water and dawn liquid soap. Now I’m ready to go. It took awhile to arrive but that’s not a big deal. I got this to reduce my fill-ups on my bike rides. Hopefully this capacity is all I need or what I need.Now that I tried it. The ice disappeared quickly. I miss my cold water from my ThermoFlask. I also don’t like the idea of having some thing on my back. Naturally I won’t be returning because I used it. Good product very well made but not for me.

I like the build and quality but I bought both a Black and a Grey unit. The Grey unit came with a bladder that had inner support to keep it from getting fat and it had two spare O-rings. The Black one (this one) had a bladder that allows it to get fat ( not advantageous) and had no spare O-rings. If I had not purchased two of them I would not have known this if I had only gotten this Black model. But now, I am disappointed and may send this one back to get a better bladder and the O-rings.
