Works on smoker
I used this on my electric smoker and am satisfied. After I got it centered, I let the smoker do it's thing. It does vary in temp by 26*F but my electric stove oven in the kitchen varies by 25*F which works for baking.Been using for a year and still works perfect.Set Dial @ 110*C = 230*FTemp fluctuates (26*F) from 226*F to 252*F (Perfect for Smoking)

They work
Used to Built a temp cutoff for my pellet grill so If I smoke a pork butt overnight I don’t have to worry about it turning into a fireball while I sleep. Wired both in series to my grill and either one will cut my grill off around 330 deg. The sensing lines are very small diameter so just got to handle them gently. Working good so far.,

Works as it should
I used this to replace the thermostat in my counter top fryer. The physical dimensions of the thermostat were identical so there was no need for alterations to the fryer. The only physical difference was the sensing bulb which is thinner and longer, but the existing clamp was still able to hold it. Some reviewers complained about a wide temperature swing (30f), but I did not have that issue. I would estimate that the temperature swing was 5f above and below the temperature setting. I tested it in water and set at just below boiling. The element would turn off at just about a boil, and turn back on at about 205f. Yes the thermostat is in Celsius but my oil thermostat is in Fahrenheit.

Best Work-Around Ever
These little things are great. I own a few industrial-process heaters that employ super-cheaply-made digital thermal controllers...that break after a year or so. Replacement cost on the cheap digital ones is fifty bucks or so, and that includes near-certain death in another 12 months. These inexpensive thermostats are reliable, and accurate enough for most applications. Maybe not for Aunt Sara's cryogenic freezer, but for my purposes they represent a big improvement on OEM for twenty cents on the dollar.

Suitable replacement for Globe fryer capillary thermostat
Had an emergency situation with our fryers being out of commission and figured that even though this may be in Celsius I can just use these in place of the "official parts" (still have to find one for the safety switch however) and they literally saved us in a hard time. - Hopefully they don't get grogged up with grease like the official parts but if not I'm glad I can get a stockpile of these when the time comes for troubleshooting again.*I'll try and update with pictures and progress in the nearby future

Work ok....... large plus/minus control variance........ not for precision applications
Cheap but they do work ok. knob calibration scale is a joke....... after it settles down I will paint new lines on the knob.

Easy to use for more than just Electric Ovens.
The media could not be loaded. Economical, Straight forward 2 terminal on/off control for heating element or fan. Worked Great for cycling amazons smoker Fan, keeping the coals hot and the meat at just the right temperature. Centigrade scale, just double what it says ( 100 = 212, 150 = 300, etc. ), not a problem.
