Fantastic shift knob. I recieved exactly what is shown in the pictures. It's the perfect size, very comfortable in the hand and made with nice materials. The plastic trim piece is a hard black plastic instead of the original soft touch material that comes from factory and I actually like the hard plastic because it's much easier to clean and will show less wear over time and it matches very close to the original. The only things that I noticed are that the boot is slightly longer than necessary but doesn't effect the look or function and the center cap that shows the gears was installed slightly crooked inside the knob but you can barely tell. Overall it's a fantastic set for the price.

I bought an mk5 gti and the shifter knob and leather were all worn out. This for the price point was an amazing replacement. Looks good, feels good, was cheap, love it.

Installed this on my kids 2012 MK6 GTI. I swear the car is faster because it looks so good. I agree with the other reviewers. The boot is a little long. But the seller also has no idea what your car is.So leaving it long is the correct way to sell it.I trimmed about an inch off the boot fabric. I used a regular stapler and it worked fine.In my opinion it looks perfect.

The plastic trim does not really match in color all that well. The lines/text also seem to be a tad crooked when seated. Still, for the money, I'll take it

The know already started peeling after a few months of installing. The boot still looks good and no issues there.

I don’t usually write a review as soon as I receive an item but this assembly is really nice! Love the red stitching. Took about a minute or two to put on and it fits perfectly, the plastic trim fits nice and snug just like the factory piece. I live in south Florida so I’m hoping it holds up well in the heat.
