Regarding the product- I love it, I've been using it for several years as an alternative to all other bouillon and boxed stocks due to being sodium free and myself having the excitement of high blood pressure. I love soup, so cutting it out completely was not an option. Unfortunately when observing the sodium of prepackaged soups- cans, envelope type (like Lipton my long lost love :/) etc. my soup future was not looking good. When I found this in my local grocer one day ~8 years ago, I tried it and never looked back. I personally enjoy the taste and often don't need to add many more spices or ingredients when I'm trying to do a quick and dirty chicken soup. I do always add a low sodium salt so I can't say how enjoyable this would be straight by itself. In conclusion, I think this product is very much worth a try. If you're looking for a no sodium bouillon the options are thin as is, this type bouillon allows you to measure salt yourself instead of ingesting 960mg of sodium for a half bowl of soup.. Now, gripes which have nothing to do with the product itself: Just a few months ago in February of this year, a 6 pack was $32. The lowest I've paid on Amazon was $28 in May of '24. It is currently $40 in June '26 which is ridiculous. Since I've been purchasing this on Amazon - over the last 3 years, it has never been close to this expensive and tended to hover between $30-33 dollars. The shipping of the jars has seemed to have gotten worse as well. As many others have shown, the jars were (maybe still) being taped together with packing tape which when taking off, would absolutely destroy the paper label on the jar. I have never received a broken jar previous to this method of shipping so I'm not sure why this packaging shift. I also imagine the sharp rise in price is in part a result of product arriving damaged from shipping, causing large amounts of refunds, which alas, customers end up paying. I have been buying 1 or 2 jars at a time- sometimes even in store, due to the shipping and price lately on Amazon. 5 stars for the product, price and packaging as of late 2.5 stars

This is an awesome alternative for a sodium free chicken bouillon flavoring. I am so glad I found this before soup season! I do with it had a shaker top like other seasonings come with but scooping it out is fine too. I've already used this in soup, on pasta and rice so it is definitely versatile.

This allows you to intensify the flavor of chicken in your soup or stew without getting it overly salty. This can be used entirely in the place of regular broth, or add it to your regular recipe as I do. It has a great taste.

I have purchased bouillon cubes for years to season various cooking stews, soups and to use when our stomach needs to fast from heavier food or a need for liquids from sickness or colds. I thought the cost was a little high and when I received this 2-pack, tape was all over the labels making it impossible to read (I see this in photos from others). This product has a nice taste, and I like the powder form vice the cubes I have been using from Wyler's. I never realized the importance of salt for food flavor. Make sure you add salt to have a decent flavor. This product cannot be returned so do the math and call Amazon Customer Service and have them give you a credit or refund if you have issues and allow the seller to fit the bill. I would recommend this item with caution due to the facts I have stated here.
