Not the easiest to put the upright together

Buying this item was not a wise choice on my part.The top photograph on the listing is of a completely different stand, not the one I received. This is bordering on dishonest.The base is pressed out of mild steel and the only reason it does'nt have dangerous sharp edges is that it has a thick layer of blue enamel paint. The base is too light. The rod which screws into the base comes in two parts which don't screw together too well so the rod has a kink in the middle.If you tighten the rod into the base with a reasonable amount of force then it strips the threads of the threaded hole through the thin steel sheet which is supposed to secure the rod.The feet are rubber U section edging strip which has been cut into short lengths and secured with superglue. On the stand which I received the feet had become hard and cracked and one of them had fallen off. But before sending it to me the seller had repaired the broken foot with Selotape ! This repair had already turned into a sticky mess.The rod had a hole drilled through it in order to tighten it into the base but instead of supplying a proper tommy bar the seller had supplied a nail !Having such a lightweight base it is doubtful this item could be classified as being 'fit for purpose' but it definately cannot be described as being 'of merchantable quality'.If it were possible to award a negative number of stars then I would but as it is I can only give it the minimum possible rating.Avoid.

The base is too light (the main photograph gives the impression that it is much more substantial); the rod comes in two parts that screw together - but the resulting rod isn't straight; the "loose and small grip lever" to tighten the rod to the base is a nail! If this is the "premium" model, I wonder what the "standard" model would be like.

Going straight back, worst quality retort stand I have ever come across.Rod screws into thin base with no securing nut. This leaves the rod very wobbly - not sure it would survive more than a couple of uses.

An absolute pile of rubbish. I would send it back if I could be bothered . Straight in the bin.

L'asta metallica è traballante, poiché il foro su cui viene avvitata è un po' più largo. Essendo l'asta metallica formata da due pezzi quando la si gira si svita la parte superiore. Inoltre il diametro dell'asta è troppo piccolo per i morsetti.Alla fine svolge la sua funzione in modo adeguato dato che la base è robusta e pesante.

Pésimo. Me han incluido un clavo de hierro oxidado para apretar la barra. Menudos chapuzas

Das Laborstativ entspricht nicht den Erwartungen.Bodenplatte ist zu leicht und die Stange ist zu kurz.Nur eingeschränkt verwendbar.Schade

the 2 piece rod screws together at an angle and it was rusty even though stainless steel. Returned it for a refund.
