This stuff is amazing. I'm not kidding when I say I believe I have had pimples disappear over night. I use to have bad hormonal acne but since starting on birth control pills those have pretty much vanished but I do still receive an occasional flare up and when I did I tried Vicoo Turmeric Cream on it and I swear it seemed to have disappear over night.I wish I knew about this stuff when I was dealing with my hormonal acne. I use to use benzoyl peroxide which would bleach my towels and clothes if I wasn't careful. Also benzoyl peroxide was pretty expensive because the 10% version was too drying so I used 5% and (at the time) I could only find one manufacture who carried it at that strength and it was for 5 bucks for a small tube. I was told to try using benzoyl peroxide every day for preventative maintenance which did work well but again it's pretty pricey.I also have some spotting on my cheek bones which I wish I could make disappear but this hasn't really helped but I'm also impatient and didn't use it for long.For the acne alone this stuff is awesome but I really, really wish they would make it scent free. I feel the sandalwood smell is way over powering especially being used on the face. It's tolerable and the smell does go away but again it would be nice to have a scent free since I would think the smell isn't really needed for the performance of the product.Update 3/26/2013: Okay I STILL love this product since I wrote this review back in June of 2012. I since found that sandalwood oil is actually supposed to be good for your skin and for acne. I didn't know that when I wrote this review but I STILL hate the smell but I LOVE how well it handles any pimple I have.Whenever I feel a pimple developing a night or two of this keeps it from even coming up.

I saw this product mentioned in a magazine and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. I honestly love this product. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and have had great results. I am the type of person who likes to use natural products on my skin and because of this I make and use my own face masks. I've bought turmeric and sandalwood powder and have made face masks with these two and essential oils. The effect of these face masks is great too but they are a lot messier than this cream. This cream is is a yellow color which is the turmeric and normally when I make my masks I am left with a yellow tint on my face because the turmeric stains it for a little bit. This product however, does not stain. When you put it on it does look yellow but once you wash it off nothing is left behind. I use this cream throughout the day when I am at home and I put it on at night and wash it off in the morning. I have best results when I put it on at night. This product takes those ingrown pimples and brings them to head. As soon as I feel a pimple I dab some of this cream on and it does not go away immediately but it does come to head and within a few days it goes away. I have tried many creams and this is my go to cream. I recently ordered another one because I love the effect it has on my skin. I still haven't seen any effect on my acne marks and scars but with the pimples themselves I have seen a difference. If you want a cream that truly helps take out the pimples I would give this a shot. It contains natural ingredients and it works wonders.

I ordered this item from two different sellers: YourIndianShopUSA and SimplyBeautiful. There is a 3 cents difference price-wise. The first one was listed as 50g, the latter mentioned no size but was very similar in price and was listed on the same page as an alternative. I received the one from SimplyBeautiful--and it is 30g.Granted it is my fault for not paying closer attention, but the way these two are lumped together, and are nearly identical in price, and especially the way the latter does not mention size is all really misleading. I don't blame the seller, I doubt it was intentional, and even if so, it is ultimately the responsibility of the buyer (i.e. me) ...anyways, buyer beware!As for the product itself--fast absorbing, great matte solution for oily skin, produces an instant brightening/covering-up/evening-out upon application. I'm rather skeptical of it having any actual lasting effects, but it suffices beautifully as a simple basic basic basic moisturizer for the low maintenance gal. Happy shopping!

I'm editing my earlier review from no effect to some effect. My skin is latte--very light colored, and I am very prone to hyperpigmentation and moles and freckles and I stay virtually out of the sun.60 days of daily application and I now finally see a more even skin tone but I wouldnt say fading. It still burns a bit after its on, and it makes you look ashy as it dries or soaks in. However, I am finally seeing a result-slight though, not remarkable as others have said.Pores do shrink right away. Skin around red areas becomes calm and even-right away, so this is great after exfoliating. With my hyperpigmentation there is no change however, the more even tone around these areas does have the slight effect of making skin appear smoother.Leave it on 15 mins til it soaks in before removing, and them moisturize. Best applied at night.The downside is the smell (inside of Moms purse?) and the retro heavy white base (parabens?) plus yellow tumeric residue. I leave it on 10 mins and then clean off with a cotton pad soaked in toner.
