I got this for my step son. He’s on a joke kick and wanting to be a comedian. He said he’s going to do a stand up comedy act at his school talent show so I figured this would be great for some new, goofy material.It fits perfect in his stocking. Wonderful stocking stuffer!

We gave this to him for Christmas and he walked around telling jokes for the rest of the day! Some funnier than others, but all age appropriate and we all had fun laughing and groaning at the punchlines.

The idea is great and our two elementary aged boys were so excited to play. We all played together and the problem was- the jokes just weren’t that funny. It was pretty frustrating bc no one could be expected to laugh. I think we went three pages before anyone cracked a grin. On the plus side the jokes are kid appropriate and they were fine for them to learn, practice, and repeat to their friends. In the end we did have fun but no one has asked to play again and this is the kind of thing my kids would ask for every night if it were funny. There just aren’t enough funny jokes in there to make the competition fun. When I was younger I was on a TV game show called “Make me laugh” where a comedian tried to get you to crack a smile and it was a good time so I had high hopes- especially since our ten yr old really wants to learn jokes and how to tell them. Next time I’ll try to find a better joke book and just play the same game with it.

Perfect for a grade school kid who likes jokes. Funny jokes, stupid jokes, you name them and they’re in here. I think my 8 year old grandson will love it.
