An excellent product for increasing performance even further!
I'm going to try and make this semi-detailed, because there is not much at all in the way of help for installing these . I intalled this with an S&S Air intake( S&S Cycle 1700298A Stealth Two Air Cleaner Kit ) and Kurayakn Crusher Maverick exhaustpipes and boy does it sound and run amazing! I have never installed anything like this on my Octane and at first it was a little daunting, but it isnt too bad if you know how to utilize google. It it has been a great learning experience for sure. Unfortunately the instructions provided are terribly vague and could defintely use some pictures to aid in the process. Below are some pictures that I took in order to help locate the injectors on the Octane.There are two things that I would like to point out from my experience if you are new to this sort of thing.1. I would HIGHLY reccommened that you purchase an intake with this fuel injection programmer. The stock intake on the Octane will have to be disconnected in order to access the fuel injector on the front cylinder. In order to remove the stock intake(to access that front fuel injector) you are going to have to dismantle two parts of the the frame. So, if you buy them together you can knock both installations out in one go.2. I would also HIGHLY reccommend using a motorcycle jack if you are uncomfortable doing this. I am sure that it is worth the money and defintely worth the peace of mind. However, because Im cheap, I found a bunch of very thick, sturdy blocks to keep it from collapsing in on itself. I then had someone hold the front forks to balance it, but the blocks did the trick and kept the engine from collapsing.Im sorry the pictures arent great, but atleast you can see what you are looking for.P.S. The only reason I rated this 4 stars and not 5, is because the instructions are aweful. You either have to rely on google or your own personal knowledge.
