Great replacement fan
I was recently cleaning my old computer and found that the 140mm case fan had burned out. My old system had 3 pin mobo connectors but most of my fans were simply connected using the molex connectors. I was confused on what kind of fan to buy as technology has definitely advanced since I first build this system. I was pleasantly supsrised that all I had to do was ignore this was a 4 pin connection and plug into the 3 pin mobo pins. Granted the ability to control the speed was gone but I find this fan is not only brighter than my old led fan but extremely quiet even at full speed. Great upgrade and has me thinking I might trade out my other 3 120mm case fans for the same fan. Highly recommended.

Good for the price, but unusual RPM control
Please be aware that there are ore than one model of fan covered on this page. There are the RGB version and the single color versions. My review is for the Green CL-F110-PL14GR-B single color model. Testing was done with the fan mounted outside of a case. Accuracy of my numbers is probably about +- 5%.Overall a decent fan for the money. Good color, brighter than the Corsair ML140 PRO. Quite quiet with a mid-range hum that only shows up when the percent PWM output goes beyond the maximum RPM of the fan. For example, one fan reached maximum RPM (at 1440 RPM) at about 96% PWM with an almost in-audible hum. As the PWM percentage goes up from there so does the the hum although the RPM does not increase. Since you will rarely if ever run the fan for any prolonged period at these rates I don't consider it an issue. The most interesting result and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the PWM range. Typically a fan reached it's minimum RPM at 20% PWM and remains at that rate below 20%. Both of the Thermaltake fans I tested bottomed out at about 40% at a little over 500 RPM. The manufacturer specifies a 500 to 1500 RPM range so the actual range is right in line with the spec but a minimum RPM at 40% PWM is unusual.Based on that finding I don't think that I would use these in a build. And if ultimate quiet is your goal the minimum RPM of 500 is rather high. Still, for the price quite acceptable.

Buggy Software
This product is working, but only with one TT-controller (which can support up to 5 fans). If you connect two or more TT-controllers in series using the provided USB cables, the software works fine for 30 min to 1 hour and then, become unable to display the current fan speed and allow the user to change RGB pattern on the fans connected to all TT-controllers except for the TT-controller that is most distant from the USB connector on the motherboard. The reason for 3 TT-controllers is that one controls the RIING 360 SR4 CPU Cooler and the other two, 5 fans for the case, and the additional 3 fans for the push-pull configuration of the CPU Cooler.Interestingly, the TT RGB Plus software is not capable of syncing the 3+3 fans in a push-pull configuration (which can additionally drop the CPU temperature for 3-4 C, an excellent benefit, especially for AMD Thredripper CPUs that can dissipate 280 W or more with O.C./Boost Override). The TT support confirmed that my TT-controller serial connection is correct and suggested to file RMA to replace the faulty controllers. I tried to exchange the position of 3 TT-controllers in the USB serial chain, but always the last TT-controller in the chain was the only one that functions properly. It looks that the problem is rather with the software, not with the hardware of the TT-controllers.I'll try to run 3 TT-controllers connected to TT H200 Plus Internal USB Hub, with 3-Port USB 2.0 Header Outputs, and 3 External Type-A USB Ports (PS-ACC-IU2H00R-2). Perhaps, the current TT RGB Plus software is unable to resolve a single USB 2.0 header on the motherboard that carries 3 TT-controllers.

AVOID THERMALTAKE RGB
If you're doing an RGB themed build then stay away from Thermaltake. I hate to say it but I've never been more disappointed in Thermaltake. I run a thirty year old computer repair shop and I've faithfully used standard Thermaltake products for many years with pride. I will no longer offer anything from Thermaltake at my store nor will I ever purchase anything for stock from them ever again. All manufacturers these days offer such similar products that the support and reliability are ultimately what separate them. Thermaltake has failed us miserably. To go in the View 31 RGB Dual Tempered Glass case we have gone with the Thermaltake UX100 RGB CPU Heatsink/Fan, a 16GB Thermaltake TOUGHRAM kit, a Thermaltake RGB 750W TOUGHPOWER Grand Series PSU. We were planning on using the pre-installed Riing 14 case fans that had factored into our purchase decision originally, but after two RMA's for the included fan controller (the original had brightness issues that were NEVER resolved, the first replacement they sent was just the incorrect part, second replacement changed nothing) and zero solutions we upgraded to the aftermarket Pure Plus 14 RGB Premium three fan kit and controller because I'm pretty reasonable and loyal. Nice fan kit by the way, but it would only be appropriate if it was to be your ONLY RGB feature. There is no syncing between all of these products despite Thermaltake expressly boasting that there is. After the email thread from support reached 25 emails and after we have spent hundreds of dollars and after several hours of labor troubleshooting and after we have tried motherboards from multiple manufacturers on both the Intel and AMD platforms, we have decided to warn everyone we can to stay away from Thermaltake RGB products.

Did not get the exact model as product description
Bought this from seller Mainframe Computers. I needed a good 140mm ARGB fan do I went for this.My issue: I ordered this product after thoroughly reading the product description expecting a fan controller with which I can control the ARGB lights via the phone app(my motherboard doesn't have an ARGB header)But instead I got a different model of the fans which doesn't come with the specified controller but one with 3 buttons (see the image attached). The reason I did not return these as the built quality of the fans and the wires are really good and all the other options in the market were expensive and did not offer anything extra for my use case. Now, I have to open my pc case every time to adjust the lights, which is thankfully easy as it is a tool less job in my NZXT H510i but your mileage may vary. Please keep that in mind before buying the product. No complaints about fans noise levels, RGB lights etc.

Nice fans with high static pressure, Included controller died in 2 weeks!
I've had this setup running for two weeks now, two fans on my CPU rad and one exhaust. There is no fan curve adjustment within the software but seemed to still follow the fan curve I set separately in bios. The RGB and fan software is not the best and resets after each boot but includes some good RGB lighting effects and shows fan RPM. After two weeks of running smoothly the included RGB controller is no longer recognized, I've tried everything and it seems to have just crapped out. Without the controller I'm stuck at 800 rpm and with rainbow effects, luckily I still have some cooling capacity while looking for a solution. I'm hoping the controller can be swapped out and all will be well. If not I will have to replace this expensive set after only 2 weeks. I cannot recommend these until this is resolved and my confidence in the included controller is restored.**editSupport has gotten back to me and I'm waiting for a replacement controller fingers crossed

Fan quality is okay, but the rest is pure garbage.
I buy this kit of 3 X 140mm RGB Fan to put in Thermaltake view 71 case. First of all the fan that come with Thermaltake view 71 is not using the same connector as this Pure Series kit and the controller is different. This is amazing: you buy case and fan from the same brand and connector and controller are different !? This Pure Series kit come with a molex connector only. Seriously Molex ?!!! We are in 2019 guys!!! I really need to install one single molex cable on my power supply in my gaming ring ONLY FOR YOUR CONTROLLER !? Of course when I try to connect the molex in the controller the back pit just come out. After this, the controller need 1 X motherboard USB 2.0 connector, but on modern motherboard there is only 2 X USB 2.0 connector on the motherboard. One connector is use for the front USB 2 of the case and the second one for the RGB light of the CPU Water pump, so I'm in trouble I don't have a third usb 2.0 connector on my motherboard to connect the Thermaltake controller. When all the cable are connected into the Thermaltake controller good luck for your cable management because it look like a mix of ratness and a big spider. This product is a disaster if your making a new gaming ring and even more bigger disaster if you have limited space for cable management. All the fan are useless if you don't install them in the controller because you cannot plug the fan directly into the motherboard. I will not buy Thermaltake product again because when you buy their product there is no info in the description. I have no choice but to put this kit of fan in a old gaming ring. The only positive thing I can say is the fan are silent and RGB lighting effect have nice color. The software to control the fan looks like it was made in 1998 and it's not compatible with ASUS Aura and Corsair Link. Sorry Thermaltake. Gamer and Pc Builder be aware.

READ ME IF YOU ARE ON RYZEN.
Fans as fans are great. Best fans I've used in a case in a long time. But I will try one more time tonight to get the software running. The software crashes after 10 seconds of being open and can not get control of the fans. Did some research last night this is an issue with the Ryzen CPU. If you have ryzen basically good luck finding a USB header that it will work witb
